New Friends

As the girls got up and started getting ready for school, it wasn't too long before they realised they should start heading off to their new school: Roosevelt High School. Which was the same high school that April O'Neil and Casey Jones went to. The people who were friends with the turtles. The same ones they watched on screen just before coming to their world. Considering the fact that this was their first day at a completely new school, they, of course, didn't know anyone, and also, of course, when exactly school started. Which is why Twilight asks this question to the rest of the group to see if they know when school starts.

TS: Does anyone want to remind me what time school starts?

SS: I believe school starts at 9 o'clock, why?

TS: Because it's currently 8:30-

AJ: Aw, shucks, we've got to rush and go right now, or else we'll be late to meet the principal, since we did get that email yesterday from them!

*As they leave, they start to get nervous for their first day at Roosevelt, as not only are they in a new world, they also know no one there, and they also might be late on their very first day in a new school in a new world. *

*It is now 8:45 o'clock* *At school, in class, in comes April O'Neil and Casey Jones. The two people that will be the Mane 7's friends for the time being, at least until they hear about and meet the turtles. April and Casey had heard through their friends, not their mutant ones, that there were new students coming to their highschool, and they had volunteered their time to show them around the school, but the principal decided that they were going to do it before the Mane 7 went to class. *

AN: *whispers* Hey Casey, I hear we're getting some new classmates. I wonder who they are and where they're from.

CJ: *whispers* Yeah I heard that too, I hope they're cute.

AN: *whispers and laughs* Why do you always have to ruin everything?

CJ: *whispers and laughs* Hey, it's how I roll. You know for a fact that is always how I roll around here, April.

*Just as their conversation is ending, the Mane 7 runs in, apologising to the teacher because of being late, to which the teacher says it's okay and that they're not late since the teacher knew that they were being shown around the school by the principal. After apologising, they sit in seats near April and Casey.*

AN: *whispers to Sunset.* Are you the new girls that transferred here?

SS: *realising that she has to lie for the time being since they didn't really trust anyone yet.**whispers to April.* Yes, we've come from across the world. It was a long plane ride, I honestly forgot where we came from. *she says while laughing.*

AN: *Realising that they seem a little off, but decides not to say anything about it.**whispers to Sunset.* That's cool, my name is April, and this is Casey.

CJ: *whispers to Sunset.* Hey, you girls are nice, what's your guys' name?

SS: *whispers* My name is Sunset Shimmer, and this are my friends: Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Flutter Shy, Rarity, and Applejack-

*When Sunset mentions Applejack, Casey looks at her. Both Applejack and Casey also start to think.*

AJ: *in her mind* Is he okay? Why is he looking at me? Should I say something about it? Never mind, he is kinda cute to be honest, I should probably stop looking at him, it's actually starting to get weird. *After thinking that last sentence, she stops looking at Casey.*

CJ: *in his mind* Wow, she's amazingly beautiful. I wonder if she has a boyfriend, not that I care, but maybe I should probably just ask. I'll wait until they feel more comfortable in the area. Oh shoot, I've been staring at her for quite too long. I should probably stop. *He stop looking at Applejack*

SS: *whispers to April.* Anyways, we should probably pay attention to the lesson. I feel like we shouldn't miss anything in case there is a test anytime soon *Sunset says while smiling.*

AN: *whispers to Sunset.* Yeah, for sure, we'll talk with you girls after school. *she says while smiling.*

*After that conversation, they stop talking and pay attention to the lesson. April thought that it was nice to have more female friends, since currently, most of her friends are male. Casey, on the other hand, was still thinking about Applejack, so he was not paying attention to anything else. It is now the end of school, and April, Casey and the Mane 7 meet up at the front of the school like April had said to talk and possibly hang out. April also wanted to ask about allowing the Mane 7 to hang out at her place, mainly because she wanted to get to know the girls better, considering the fact that they were new to the area.*

AN: So we could hang out at my house if you guys want, it's actually just down the block from here. I mean, we could help you guys around the area if you guys are up to it. But if not, that's totally okay.

RD: That's not a bad idea, but I'm pretty sure we want to get accustomed to the area before we do that. Don't get the wrong idea, it's just, I don't think we really feel comfortable just yet. *while smiling.*

SS: Rainbow's right, considering the fact that we just got here, we want to know the area before we went to anyone's houses, and, hate to sort of point out the obvious, but we only just met you guys today, so, we'll take you up on your offer soon. *Sunset says while smiling.*

AN: That's totally okay, we'll see you guys tomorrow.

CJ: Yep, we'll see you at school tomorrow, if you guys are up for it. *Casey says with a little smirk.*

*As April and Casey start to walk away, Sunset noticed that they were not going the way to April's house, which made Sunset suspicious, but decided not to tell anyone yet, as to not try to break the new friendship they're currently building with April and Casey. Sunset also didn't feel like saying anything because of what happened before at their old school, as she thought that her trust and the rest of the Mane 7's trust could be based on previous circumstances.*

SS: *Says to herself so that no one else hears her.* Should I say something, or is my trust in people just that broken, for me to not trust others? I should probably write to pony Twilight later today, since I am a little stressed out and I need to ask her if she knows how and why we ended up here.

Where are April and Casey going? What secret are they hiding? Is this world going to be similar to theirs?
