New Perspective

After Leo and Twilight's date, both of them decided that they would go back to the lair, since it wasn't too late for Twilight to go back to their apartment. Master Splinter had a suspension that they didn't go on a patrol run, but decided to wait until they got back to say something. He also hoped that when Leo and Twilight tell him the truth, that his other sons will do the same. Splinter decided to talk with them in private after they got back.

SP: *is sitting with the rest of the group watching the turtles' favorite show, and sees that Leo and Twilight have gotten back, so he gets up to go and speak to them about the patrol in private.* So, Leonardo, how was your patrol with Twilight?

L: Oh, it was great, you know, nothing to report, as everything was fine. *is trying to lie to Splinter, but Leo knows that Splinter will know that they are lying*

SP: *Knows that he's lying, but he then proceeds to ask Twilight.* Is that true, Twilight? Was there really nothing to report out on the street?

TW: umm, yes, that's true, sensei, like Leo said, everything is fine...

SP: *starts chuckling a bit.* You do know I know when my son is lying, yes? Why don't you tell what you two really did, in private.

*Leo and Twilight start to get nervous, but realise that all they need to do is to tell the truth, and maybe, just maybe, they'll be alright.They also hope that master Splinter will understand why they had to lie to the group about their date. They go someplace else away from the group to talk to not embarrass each other.*

SP: Explain to me why you lied to us, Leonardo, so that I know if I have the right explanation in my mind.

L: Umm, we went on a date, and we lied, or more so I lied because I wanted a chance to talk to someone without the intervention of other people, and get a chance to get to know her better. I'm sorry we lied to you, master Splinter.

SP: See, that's the explanation I have, AND the explanation I got. *he says while smiling.*

TW: Are you mad at us, master Splinter? Because if you are, you have a reason to be.

SP: I am not mad, Twilight, I actually wanted Leonardo to be able to do something that wasn't patrolling or training or anything like that. I also wanted Leonardo to be a bit of an example for his brothers. *he says while smiling.*

*Leo, Twilight, and master Splinter head to the rest of the group, Leo and Twilight being proud knowing that they weren't in trouble. Leo also wanted to tell the rest of the group what Twilight told him.*

TW: *to the rest of the Mane 7* Just letting you girls know, I told Leo about how we got our powers. *she says while smiling.*

SS: *is watching the show that the turtles are obsessed with, when she realises what Twilight has said.* And you're okay with Leo knowing how you managed to obtain your powers?

TW: Yeah, honestly, it's probably better if I talk about what happened than to keep it inside. *she says while smiling.*

L: *talking to the group, while the Mane 7 is listening knowing that Leo is going to talk about what Twilight told him.* So, while me and Twilight were on patrol, it wasn't really a patrol, it was more of a date, but-*he gets cut off.*

SS: Hold on, you guys went on a date? And you lied about it? I mean, it's sort of understandable as to why, but I'm still sort of confused...

R: I mean, they probably had a good reason, darling. They probably lied about it because they didn't want us to bother them, and it makes sense.

D: Yeah, I mean, it's understandable that you guys didn't tell us, we would have bothered you guys if you did tell us the truth. And plus, we probably would have went with you guys.

SS: Fair point, anyways, keep going, Leo.

L: Okay, then, anyways, Twilight was telling me about how the Mane 7 got their powers, and it turns out that the Mane 7 have doppelgängers in pony form, and the pony version of Twilight came here to get her crown, and because of that crown and Sunset, but I'll let her tell that on her own, but Twilight got her powers after the Mane 7 because of the fact her old school pressuring her and stuff, and made her use something that turned her in like a villain or something, and because of fear of powers, she was able to overcome it and be able have powers like the Mane 7. Honestly, I think it's really cool. *he says while smiling.*

M: Yeah, really cool, but how does a crown give you guys powers? I thought a crown was just jewellery?

D: For one of the few times where Mikey has a point, I agree with him, this crown must've been pretty special to be able to give you girls powers...

SS: The crown was magical, I mean, it was the crown of the elements of harmony, which allowed the pony Mane 6 to defeat bad guys. It was like the Mane 6, excluding Twilight and myself, of course, because I also got my powers at a later time, but before Twilight got their powers, but it was like they bonded together after what happened with me, but I'll explain that another time.

TS: Oh, I thought that you got your powers around the same that the rest of them got their powers. It's okay, though. *she says while smiling.*

L: *He looks at Twilight, smiling at the fact that she's his crush.*

SS: Hey, it's okay, Twilight, I mean, you obviously haven't been with us for very long at this point. *she says while smiling.*

AP: Honestly, that explains why and how you girls got your powers. How long have you guys had your powers for?

SS: A few years now, honestly, it's no big deal. We've dealt with them for a while now.

L: I know right!? That brings a whole new perspective on their powers and their friendship. It literally has made their friendship stronger because of what has happened to them. No offence to you, Sunset. *he says while smiling.*

SS: None taken, Leo, I know you mean well. *she said while smiling as well.*

*After the conversation, Raph is debating in his head on asking Sunset on a date, which is why he's been a little too quiet during the conversation. It was unusual that Raph was quiet, but no one really paid attention to that since the rest of the group's attention was more focused on the girls and their powers. Once deciding on asking Sunset on a date, he decides to take action, and here goes this conversation between Sunset and Raph.*

RH: Hey, Sunset, may you go on a date with me? I know it's sort of late, but I just wanted to ask- *Sunset cuts him off by saying.*

SS: Sure, we can do that. It's okay, we can go tomorrow, it's fine. *she says while smiling, knowing that she can spend more time with her crush.*

Where will Raph and Sunset go on their date? Will Donnie and Mikey have the courage to do the same with Rarity and Pinkie?
