MLP EG and TMNT (2012) Crossover

Lovely Date

With what's been going on with Sonata and other things that the turtles and the Mane 7, both Donnie and Rarity had no time to think about what to do for their date, and it's been a while since they've stated that they wanted to go on a date. This slightly upset Donnie, considering the fact that he and Rarity were one of the few couples who have not gone on a date yet, and he was also worried that whatever he picked and decided to do for their date, Rarity wasn't going to like it. So, he spent the next couple of days trying to figure out what to do. Which is also why he decided to ask his brothers and Twilight, Sunset, and Pinkie, the couples who have gone on a date, and the three people who know Rarity more than him, what to do for their date.

D: Hey, Leo, Raph, and Mikey, what did you guys do for your dates with Twilight, Sunset, and Pinkie?

L: *is a bit confused as to why he's asking.* We pretty much just sat on rooftops and talked with each other about ourselves and when and how they got here. And before they got here as well. Why do you ask, Donnie? I thought you and Rarity already went on your date.

RH: Yeah, I agree with Leo, I also thought you had already gone on your date with Rarity. *Raph says questioningly.*

D: I have not, no, simply because of what's been going on with Sonata and the Dazzlings. I mean, we've been so focused on her and training, not only with us, but also the Mane 7 whenever we can as well, so we haven't really had a chance to go. *Donnie says sadly.*

D: And which is why I have been spending the last few days trying to figure out what to do for our date. I don't even do what she wants to do for it, since she has literally said she doesn't care what we do. *Donnie says a bit frustrated.*

M: Maybe you could ask the rest of the Rainbooms, aka, Twilight, Sunset, and Pinkie, what Rarity might want to do for your guys' date, they might give you some insight on what to do. *Mikey says with a smile.*

D: *With a shocked look on his face, then a smile on his face.* Mikey, you are a genius, thank you so much. *Donnie says with a huge smile, and proceeds to hug Mikey, then runs to find the rest of the Rainbooms to ask them about Rarity.*

*Donnie then proceeds to go to the dojo, since the Rainbooms were training, to talk to the Rainbooms about his and Rarity's date, and what she wanted to do, since he also had no idea what to do.*

D: Hey, girls, me and Rarity are going on a date, what would she want and/or like to do for the date??

TS: Maybe a picnic would be good, Donnie. I mean, I think at one point in time, she has said that she would like to have her first date be a picnic. But if it isn't, then a picnic would be good for the date. *Twilight says with a smile.*

SS: I agree with Twilight. Rarity would definitely want to do something, but not something too fancy, so like Twilight said, a picnic would be a great idea for a date for you and Rarity. Does that help, Donnie?

D: It does, thank you girls for helping me. Now I have to get stuff for the picnic. Also, I think she did mention a picnic, but more as a suggestion. I didn't realise that a picnic is what she actually wanted. *He says with a big smile.*

D: I'll see you guys later. *Realises that he might need to know whether or not he might be ready to take Rarity on a date tonight.* Actually, could any one of you girls tell me when Rarity comes? I want to know how far I'll be when she comes to see if we'll be able to go tonight. I'll be in the workshop if and when you tell me she's here.

TS: Of course, Donnie, we'll let you know, don't worry.

*Donnie then heads to his workshop to start planning and getting everything ready for his date with Rarity. The only thing is, he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to take Rarity tonight, which hopefully he will. A couple of hours later, he was able to finish planning the picnic, and was able to get everything ready for it. It wasn't until he was finished when Twilight gave him this message.*

TS: Hey, Donnie, um, I'm just letting you know, Rarity's here.

D: Great, thanks Twilight, luckily I've just finished planning and getting everything for the picnic, so you wouldn't mind telling her I'm in the workshop. *He says smiling.*

TS: Sure, I'll go tell her now. I'm pretty sure she's going to ask where you are anyways. *she says while smiling.*

*Twilight then goes to tell Rarity that Donnie is in the workshop, and also wants to speak to her. The only thing is that Rarity was actually about to ask where Donnie was anyways, but after she gave the thing that Twilight needed her to get, which was sort of the main reason why she was there, so she then heads to the workshop to speak to Donnie.*

R: Hey, Donnie, Twilight said you wanted to speak with me about something.

D: Yes, we are going on our date tonight, and I've planned out a picnic. *he says while smiling brightly.*

R: Oh, that's great, Donnie. I'm happy you actually managed to plan out what our date is going to be. *she says both with a smile and excitement.*

R: But honestly, darling, I was just here to drop something off for Twilight since she asked for it, and I was coming here anyway, but since we're going on our date tonight, I should actually go home now to change, and you and I both know it's going to take me a while to get ready. Anyways, I should probably get going. I'll see you in a bit, Donnie. Call me when you're about to come to my window later tonight. See you later. *while smiling.*

*After she says that, she says goodbye and leaves to go back to the Mane 7's apartment, while Donnie stares at her with longing eyes, as he reminds himself of their date later tonight. A couple hours later, after getting himself relatively ready, Donnie decides to text Rarity to 1: see if she's ready, and two: to text her to let her know that he's coming. She texted back saying that she was ready and to come.*

*At the Mane 7's apartment, Rarity was waiting on the rooftop, like she had texted Donnie, and was also waiting for Donnie there. After waiting a while, Donnie arrived on the rooftop. Now it was time for their date. But first, this conversation happens.*

D: Hey Rarity, wow, you look beautiful, but then again you always look beautiful. How long have you been waiting for?

R: *laughs a bit.* Thanks, Donnie. You don't look too bad yourself, and honestly, I haven't been waiting that long for you to come and meet me here, darling.

D: Perfect, let me lay out the stuff for the picnic. *he says while smiling and looking at Rarity, but quickly turns away to set up the stuff.*

R: Great. That's fine. *also smiling and looking at Donnie while he's laying out the blanket and other things he had planned for the picnic.*

*After Donnie sets up, Rarity sets up everything else on the blanket and once that happens, they start their date. Once they start, they have a conversation about life and things they've done before they've met.*

((Little Author's Note, I'm not really going to do a conversation between them because there's not really much to talk about now, so-))

*They also talk about other things that they've seen, and their powers and whatever you can imagine. You guys can pretty much think about how the date went.*
