Protective

Over the next week, after finding out that the Dazzlings' pendants were completed from Sonata, and the fact that they now know that the Mane 7 is here, there was a little bit of tension going on around the lair, more so when it came to the turtles and Casey. The reason being that they were thinking about how the Mane 7 were in danger, especially the girls they had a crush on. It was hard for them to think that anyone would want to get revenge on the Mane 7, but it's happened to them before, so it sort of made sense to them. But they weren't going to let anything happen to the Mane 7, which is why they are starting to be a bit overprotective of them. The Mane 7, on the other hand, were starting to notice something was off with them, but were wanting to talk to them separately because they didn't want to embarrass them in front of the others, which is why this conversation takes place with the Mane 7 before they all decide to talk to the turtles and Casey.

SS: You girls think there is something wrong with the guys? Cause I've been noticing that there's something off with them. Especially with Raph, because I've noticed that he seems more quiet than how he usually is.

TS: I've noticed something with them too, even with Leo as well. I've been thinking about talking with Leo about it, but I didn't want to say something to him that might be untrue.

PP: Yeah, they've been acting a little weird around us, but I'm not sure why. It's not really like them to not say anything to us about it.

RR: I think it might be because of the Dazzlings. I mean, we literally just found out that their pendants are complete, and the fact that they know that we're here, so they might be starting to be overprotective. Which is why they might have not wanted to say anything, since they didn't really want us to worry.

SS: Yeah, we should probably talk to them about it, but separately. I don't really want them to be upset over the fact that we know, and the fact that they might think that they can't protect us. Which they can, but they know that we can protect ourselves. *Sunset says with a concerned look on her face.*

*They started to leave to go and talk to their respective turtle and person (Casey, for those of you wondering-). They were nervous about talking to them about what was going on, but because of the tension over the last week, it was sort of a given that it needed to be talked about. They were sure that the turtles and Casey wanted to talk about what was going on with them, but in their eyes, they most likely didn't want to feel weak in front of the others. Which some people, or mutants in this case, might not want to seem weak (*coughs* Raph, *coughs*-). Let's see Rarity and Donnie's conversation about this given issue.*

RR: *talks to and brings Donnie to a private spot, so that they can talk.* So, there's something I need to talk to you about, and the rest of the Mane 7 are doing the same, but is something wrong? You, your brothers and Casey have been acting a little weird lately, and I think we might know why.

D: *Realising that she and the rest of the Mane 7 might know what's going on with them, he starts to rub his neck a bit.* When we found out about the pendants being complete, and the fact that they now know that you girls are here, we sort of realised that you girls may need a little bit more protection from us. I know it sounds a little stupid, but I also know that we wouldn't want anyone to harm you girls.

RR: Look, Donnie, we know and understand that you guys want to protect us, but with you guys teaching us how to fight and with our powers, I'm pretty sure we can learn how to protect ourselves. Even with the training we've already been given, we should be able to protect ourselves. *Rarity says while smiling.*

D: Yeah, I know, we're probably just worrying about all of this for nothing. We still feel a need to protect you girls though, regardless of what happens. We're sorry. *Donnie says with a sad look on his face.*

RR: Don't be sorry, Donnie, you were just being a good friend to me and the rest of the Mane 7, so don't be sorry for that. *Rarity says with a smile and with her hand on his arm.*

RR: You and your brothers are good people, or in your guys' case, mutants, and I know you guys have good intentions, so I understand what you're going through, but we also have to learn to protect ourselves, even if it means you guys train us for the time being. *she says with a laugh.*

D: Maybe we shouldn't be so worried as we were thinking. *Donnie also laughs with her and is also kind of nervous.*

D: You girls are definitely more than capable of protecting yourselves, and we shouldn't HAVE to be protective, but maybe we should be a little protective of you girls regardless, since you know, you girls don't really have a lot of knowledge of New York just yet.

*After their conversation, they headed back to the couch and the TV, where they saw everyone else acting the same way they were acting the week prior. Which meant that their own separate conversations with each turtle and person managed to work, and that hopefully, the Mane 7, the turtles and Casey can get back to having no tension holding them back from what they need to say.*

*On the other hand, Donnie was thinking about what he and Rarity should do for their date, since they've not had time to think about putting that together since finding out about Sonata and what the Dazzlings want to do. And it had totally slipped his mind when talking to Rarity. Which is why Donnie decides to ask Rarity this question before she talks to anyone else.*

D: Hey, Rarity, just a quick question: what do you think we should do for our date? I mean, I'm not entirely sure what we should do, since we've been preoccupied with what's been going on with Sonata, and a lot of other things that seem to also include her and the Dazzlings, so I haven't had time to think about what we should do for our date just yet.

RR: Well, it doesn't have to be extravagant, darling, you can just go with what you feel. If it's a picnic, then it's a picnic, the date that you plan out doesn't have to be over the top. I'm honestly fine with whatever you feel like, Donnie. *while smiling.*

D: Okay, thanks for your input anyways, Rarity. I'll try to come up with some ideas for it. I'll be in my lab if you don't mind. You can always come and talk to me about it if you want to. *he says with a smile.*

RR: That's fine, Donnie. You know I'll be here if you manage to come up with anything. *with a smile*
