New Training

Over the next few weeks, the Mane 7 went down to the sewers with April and Casey to see their new friends, the turtles, and their sensei, master Splinter. Over those last few weeks, Leo was thinking about the idea of allowing the Mane 7 to train to better their senses and protect themselves. It would also allow them to better express their powers and abilities through better fighting skills. Before April, Casey, and the Mane 7 came down to greet them, Leo decided to talk about his idea with his brothers and sensei.

L: *walks into the room with the TV, and sees his brothers and sensei watching TV, and decides to tell them about the idea he had.* Hey, guys, sensei, I had an idea that I wanted to discuss with you guys before April, Casey, and the girls get down here.

D: Of course. What's your idea, Leo? It better be good. *Donnie says while smiling and chuckling a bit.*

L: I was thinking of training the Mane 7 so that they know how to not only improve and hone their skills, but to also protect themselves. I mean, this is New York, and there are crazy mutants running around, and I don't really want them to get hurt. And plus, they don't really know the area that well, so I want to help improve their skills that way as well.

RH: You know what, Leo, that's the best idea you've had all day. *he says slightly sarcastically whilst also smirking a little.*

SP: Raphael is right, maybe we can train the girls so that they are able to protect themselves when they're at school during the day. I know that they probably already have some type of fighting style, but some ninja training could help them improve those skills. That is a great idea, Leonardo. And who knows? It could even help us in the future. Let's tell the Mane 7 when they get here with April and Casey.

RH: Wait, I am? Honestly, I was being sarcastic, I didn't realise you were going to agree with what I said, sensei, sorry for being sarcastic. *he says sincerely.*

SP: Yes, Raphael, our world is different from theirs, and like Leo said, they don't know the area well, or at all for that matter, so they need to be prepared for the dangers and evil people that our world faces.

*After hearing his sensei say what he was hoping he'd say, Leo looks in both pride and happiness, knowing that means he'll be able to see Twilight more, and will be able to have some conversations with the person he just so happens to have a crush on. He also hopes that his brothers feel the same way he does with their crushes, since he knows that he and his brothers have their crushes on their own Rainboom.*

SP: *thinking that his sons will be more distracted looking at their possible crushes than training, but doesn't say anything in case he ends up being wrong about it. Which he hopes that he is wrong about all that stuff.*

*Just after their conversation about wanting to train the Mane 7, April, Casey, and the Mane 7 come into the lair and say hello.**The turtles stop what they're doing to say hello back. Leo had a huge smile on his face, which Twilight seemed to notice while she came in, so she decided to ask him what was up.*

TS: Hey Leo, you seem more excited than usual. *she says smiling while looking at Leo with a calming look on her face.*

L: That is because me and my brothers have been given the green light by master Splinter to be able to train you girls!! *he says, smiling brightly as well.*

AJ: Now why do we need training? I mean, we already practise a lot with our instruments, and whatnot, we don't really need the extra training in that area. Unless you guys mean training in something else. Which we might need.

SP: *smiling and chuckling* Leonardo actually doesn't mean that kind of training, he means what we train: ninja training.

PP: So, does that mean we'll be able to fight bad guys like how you guys fight them??

D: *chuckling* Well, yes, you'll be able to fight using our battling styles, but you can also use it to better other skills you've never had before, and you'll be able to protect yourselves as well. It could also better your powers and abilities you currently have as well.

R: Well, I think that's a good idea, isn't that right, girls? We actually do need the training, if this city is anything like our city, it probably has its fair share of villains. And all of the other issues you guys face on a daily basis. *Rarity says while smiling.*

*The rest of the Mane 7 all cheer and nod in agreement.*

SP: You girls can start next week, for now, you girls can take it easy considering the fact that we just told you girls, and you all might need time to process and get yourselves ready to be able to train with us. *he says smiling.*

*Next week rolls around, and the Mane 7 is excited for their new training with the turtles. They've gotten some things that they might need to get ready to train with the turtles. They're also excited about them training with their crush on their specific turtle.*

TS: Hey, guys, we're here. We're also really excited for our training. *Looking around for the turtles while smiling.*

RD: Heck yeah, we are, we're going to be awesome at this!!

L: *chuckles while all of the turtles are coming out from the dojo.* I bet you girls are, but first off, we'll pair you girls with one of us, and then we'll start training you guys.

*Leo says that while Karai and Shinigami walk into the lair. Karai and Shinigami were two people that the Mane 7 haven't met yet, which is why Karai and Shinigami say this when they see the Mane 7. Leo also realises that they haven't said anything about the Mane 7 to Karai and Shinigami just yet.*

K: Hey guys... who are these girls? They're not supposed to- *starts to ready her weapon.*

L: *Putting his hands in a stop motion to stop Karai from drawing her weapon and putting himself between Karai and the Mane 7.* Karai, it's okay, they're friends. Leave them alone.

SH: *also starts to ready her weapon, but puts it down once she sees Karai put her weapon down.* Yeah, who are you girls, and what are your names?

AN: Uhh, this is the Mane 7, and their names are Twilight, Applejack, Flutter Shy, Pinkie, Sunset, Rainbow and Rarity.

K: Well, okay, then, nice to meet you girls, my name is Karai, and this is my friend, Shinigami.

SH: Hello. Nice to meet you. As Karai mentioned, my name is Shinigami.

L: We were actually about to start training with them this week, to not just better their skills, but to also protect themselves without the need of other people.

K: That's not a bad idea, actually, Leo. In fact, me and Shini can actually help with that. *while crossing her arms.*

SH: Yeah, I mean, it's better to protect yourself than to have others do it for you. It's easier that way. *she says with a smirk.*

L: Let's do it!! That is going to be awesome. *Leo says while smiling.*

*In the dojo, the turtles, April, Casey, Shini, and Karai help the girls with their first training session, but Karai mentions something that both April, Casey and the turtles forgot to mention, or at least, failed to mention to the Mane 7. Once Karai says what she is about to say, everyone looks at her with both confused and shocked looks.*

K: Hey, has Slash gotten back to you guys about a joint training session yet? If you said anything about that to him at all?

FS: *looks up when Karai mentions Slash and asks.* Hey, wait, Karai, who's Slash?

Would the Mane 7 be able to meet this Slash? Who is this Slash? How could this impact them in the future?
