It Takes Two

A few days later, while Twilight was training with a bamboo staff in the dojo, Leo walks in to see her training. Spike was also there, as he typically is whenever Twilight is in the room, watching her train. At this time, Leo was slightly nervous, as he wanted to ask Twilight on a date, but was too shy to actually ask out on a date. He, however, had a way to make sure that they went out on that date.

L: *walks into the dojo and sees Twilight training.**in his mind.* Wow, Twilight is beautiful, even when training... What was I going to ask her? Oh right, I was going to ask her on a date, but how do I do that?

*When Twilight finishes training and puts the staff away, is when she sees Leo. Spike also sees Leo, and runs up to him.*

TS: *gets scared* Gosh darn, Leo, you scared me *she says while chuckling.*

L: *while chuckling and petting Spike.* Sorry, I didn't mean to, I was just thinking about something...

TS: You know you can tell me right? I know it's hard to tell someone something, but you know you can always tell me. *she says while smiling.*

L: *in his mind* Twilight's right. Just because I'm nervous, doesn't mean I shouldn't, but the question is how... how do I tell her?? Maybe if I ask her to come with me for a patrol run, then she won't really think it's a date, unless I tell her of course.

L: I wanted to ask if you wanted to go on a patrol run with me. *in his mind.* Please say yes, please say yes...

TS: Yeah, sure, I've always wanted to see what you guys do on a patrol run. *she says while smiling.*

L: *in his mind.* Oh my goodness, she actually said yes, this is great, now I can get to know her better without my brothers and the rest of the Mane 7 to interrupt me.

TS: *in her mind* Does he want this patrol run to be a bit of a date? I mean, he did only say it was only him and I doing patrol. I do honestly want to get to know him better. It's hard to do that with school, and practice and training, AND the fact that we have to keep them a secret. Sometimes I wish I had more time. I think I should ask him if this is really a patrol run.

TS: Hey, Leo, are you sure that we're doing a patrol run?

L: What do you mean? Of course we are, I don't understand. *he says with a lie and bluntly.*

TS: *while chuckling* I mean, is this your way of asking me out on a date, or what?

L: *while blushing, chuckling and rubbing his neck* I guess you caught on fast that it wasn't really going to be a patrol run. You're a quick learner, Twilight. *he says while smiling.*

TS: *still chuckling* We should probably tell the rest of them that we're going on a patrol, but we both know that it's really going to be a date.

*After the conversation of the little patrol/date, Leo tells master Splinter, his brothers, April, Casey, Shini, Karai, and the rest of the Mane 7 that he and Twilight are going on a patrol run, which is really going to be a date.

L: Hey, guys, me and Twilight are going to go on a patrol run, we'll be back in a bit.

SP: That is fine, Leonardo, just be safe, and come back at a reasonable time, I am pretty sure that the girls have school in the morning. Be safe, you too.

L: Of course, sensei, we'll be back soon. See you guys later. *he says while smiling.*

TS: Bye, girls, I'll see you guys later, if I don't come back to the lair, I've gone back to the apartment to go to sleep. *while smiling.*

*After telling the group about where they're going, Leo and Twilight went on their patrol/date. 15 minutes later, is when Leo and Twilight went on a rooftop to have their date. Splinter, on the other hand, didn't really believe that they were going on a patrol run, but he decided to wait until they got back to say something. He also understood why Leo and Twilight didn't want to tell them the truth: out of fear.*

TS: So, how do you and your brothers manage to stay hidden? You guys must've had help growing up...

L: Honestly, up until a couple years ago, the only help we had was from sensei, but after that, we've had help from April, Casey, Shini, Karai, and the Mutanimals, and now you girls. As for staying hidden, we've been trained by sensei for as long as I can remember, so we know a lot. *while smiling*

TS: That's nice. I hope you tell me more about that sometime in the future. It's nice to tell you something about yourself and vice versa. *she says while smiling.*

L: How was life back in the other world? Myself and the others don't really know much about where you come from or your powers for that matter.

TS: Well, as you guys know the story of how we got here, you guys don't know how we got our powers. You see, I got mine at a later time, so by the time I started going to Canterlot High, which was way after when the rest of the Mane 7 already had their powers.

L: So, how did the rest of the Mane 7 get their powers? It must've been a great feat in order for you guys to get these amazing powers. *Leo says while smiling.*

TS: Well, when I was told the story, and this was before Sunset was accepted into the group, in fact, she was the main reason (no pun intended-) why the group wasn't the Mane 7 for a while. Sunset, as I've been told by them, was the bully, the mean person, who wanted power all to herself, so she travelled to a pony dimension, which is, I believe, a completely different dimension from the both of ours, and stole a princess' crown, which Sunset used to transform herself into a demon like creature, and made almost everyone her worker bees. It wasn't until pony Twilight, the other version of me, and the help of the Mane 7, who in the pony world along with pony Twilight, are the elements of harmony, which explains how they got their powers. And ever since, because of that magic, a bit has stayed, and they're able to transform using musical instruments. She was also the reason who drove Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, Rainbow, and Flutter Shy apart. *while smiling.*

L: *is in shock* Okay, but that still doesn't explain how YOU managed to get your powers.

TS: *sighs**speaks fast.* I was pressured by my previous school to be the best, put me in overwhelming stress of failing, created an amulet type device that took most, if not all, of the rest of the Mane 7's powers, the head dean made me use it, and it turned me into a similar demon like creature as Sunset, your new friends had to save me, after that, I didn't feel like touching magic, so all I had to do was overcome my fear in order for my powers to manifest.

L: *stands in shookness as he takes in what Twilight had just said. This was also one of the first few pieces of information that Leo has gotten about the Mane 7 from Twilight* Twilight, are you sure you're okay?

TS: Yeah, I'm okay, don't worry. *looks at watch, and realises that it's starting to get late.* We should probably be heading back. It's starting to get late. Honestly, this was fun, we should go on more dates like this. *Twilight says while smiling and looking at Leo.*

Will we see the others on dates like this? Or, like Leo, will they be nervous to speak up?
