MLP EG and TMNT (2012) Crossover

Past Details

After school, which is now 3:30 PM, once the Mane 7 and Casey finish their classes for the day, they meet at the front of the school to head to the lair. As mentioned in the previous chapter, they wanted to know why April was acting the way that she was, and you guessed it, she is jealous of the fact that Rarity went on a date with Donnie, which seems like nothing to the eye of the reader, but is apparently everything to April. According to both her, Casey and Donnie, she reacted badly to Donnie telling her that he liked her a year and a half ago, which made Donnie very upset and lonely for a while. And after she found out about Donnie going on a date with Rarity from Leo, Raph, and Mikey, she, now all of a sudden, started getting feelings for Donnie, which, furthermore, caused her to be jealous of Rarity. Which to Casey, Donnie and the Mane 7, seems a bit concerning. Raph, Leo and Mikey didn't really seem to know what was going on with April yet, as they may have forgotten about the whole ordeal, but Donnie might have an idea about what's been going on with her. As they were there, Casey started looking around for April, he saw that she was nowhere to be found, so he asked the Mane 7 this question.

CJ: Hey, girls, where's April? She said that she was going to meet at the front or whatever this morning, but I didn't see her coming and/or I didn't see her around here. I don't suppose we just missed her, did we?

FS: Honestly, we didn't see her when we were coming here either after the bell rang, Casey. Like you said, Casey, maybe we just missed her, and she's already at the lair. Or she's probably not coming with us at all.

SS: Yeah, we haven't seen her since this morning, in fact, she wasn't even in class at all today, which is weird, as she said that she went to class, but I don't know.

CJ: Maybe, Flutter Shy. And you're right, Sunset, that is a little weird. Well, we should probably go. She did say not to wait for her if she didn't show up here after school. Also, I still have to ask Donnie those questions about what's going with April. He might happen to know a bit more about April. If he happens to know what's going on with her, that is.

*They then left to go to the lair, with high hopes that April was there already, so that they could ask her what was wrong with her, and not have to ask Donnie if he knew anything. Casey also had high hopes that Donnie had some answers to April's demeanour the last couple of days. He had figured that it was because of Donnie's date with Rarity and that she was most likely just jealous, but according to both him and Donnie, that made no sense because of what happened prior to the Mane 7 coming.*

*Once at the lair, the Mane 7 started doing their own thing, for example, homework, talking with the turtles, and the Mutanimals, since the Mutanimals happened to be here today as well, and Casey immediately went to the lab, since that's typically where Donnie is, besides everywhere else, to ask Donnie what was wrong with April.*

CJ: *knocks on the lab doors to signal to Donnie that he's here, and wants to talk.* Hey, Donnie, sorry for bugging you in whatever you're doing right now, but I wanted to speak to you and ask you, did you know what's been going with April lately?

D: *not really looking from what he's doing, as he wants to get his work done.* What do you mean? I haven't seen April since we talked Saturday night. Why do you ask, Casey? Is something wrong with her? *a little annoyed that he's asking, since both of them know why she's acting like that.*

CJ: This morning, she said she felt uncomfortable around the girls, and I think it's because of the fact that you went on a date with Rarity. Wait, before you answer really quickly, she hasn't been in the lair since Saturday night? She hasn't been here in two days? What has she been doing the last couple of days?

D: *looks up from what he's doing.* Casey, that's exactly the reason why April went to talk to me Saturday night, but then she stormed out once I told her off.

CJ: But, you know it doesn't make sense, right? When you told her that you liked her, she said that she didn't like you back, and she also reacted extremely poorly when you told her as well. *he says with a little concern for his well being.*

D: I know, Casey, I know it doesn't make sense, which is why I honestly have no idea why she would act the way that she is right now.

CJ: So, you don't know where she is right now?

D: Honestly, no I haven't, Casey, why do you ask and why do you care? If you know how she's acting right now, why do you care?

CJ: *with a blank stare on his face.* Honestly, I have no idea, but me and the Mane 7 haven't seen her since this morning, and Rarity had stated after she left that she stared weirdly at her, and I am just slightly concerned, that's all.

D: Look, Casey, I understand that you're concerned for her, and you're trying to be a good friend for April, I get it, but with the way she's currently acting, I don't really care. *with a dead expression on his face.*

D: Now if you'll excuse me, Casey, I have stuff to do, so if you don't mind leaving both me alone and the lab, I really appreciate it right now.*with a smile on his face.*

*Once Donnie says that, Casey leaves, and sits in the area where the TV is, and where most of the Mane 7, the turtles, and the Mutanimals were hanging out. After a while Leo and Raph come out from the dojo where they were training, and they see that Twilight and Sunset were there, so they go to talk to them, as per usual when they come to the lair. Mikey comes from the kitchen and sees Pinkie and asks her if she could help with dinner, to which she says yes. Rarity, on the other hand, wanted to see Donnie, so she headed to the lab. She also decides to bring her bag in case Donnie wants her to do or bring anything with her when they leave later that night. She knocks on the door, and this conversation ensues.*

RR: *knocks on the door to the lab, worried about what's been going on with Donnie since his and Casey's conversation.*

D: Go away, Casey, As I told you, I'm doing something right now, and I don't really feel like talking to anyone right now. I'm sorry, man. You can come back later when I'm done, but then again, I don't really know when that time is.

RR: *sees that he's focused on something, and also hears that he called her Casey, so she decides to speak up.* Darling, it's me, Rarity, not Casey. Are you okay? Is it alright if I come in, or is now a bad time for you?

D: *looks up super fast and drops what he's holding when he hears that it's Rarity and not Casey.* Rarity, I'm sorry, it's just I'm currently in the middle of doing some research right now, but I can talk for a bit. What's up?

RR: Casey mentioned earlier today that you liked April like a year and a half ago, before we came here. But she apparently reacted badly to it. Is that really true, Donnie? Or is he lying like he usually does about things?

D: *with a sad look on his face.* Yeah, what Casey said about April and that stuff was true. He's actually not lying about this fact. I honestly thought that she would have liked me back. I guess I was wrong to think that she would. After that, I was in the depths for a while, but with some time for myself and with the rest of the turtles, Casey and master Splinter, I managed to come out of it. *with a weak smile.*

D: It wasn't until you girls came to our world, that you girls actually put a smile on my face. For more than a few minutes at a time *a little more happy when he says that.*

RR: Well, that's good, Donnie, I'm always happy to hear that. Anyways, I just wanted to check to see if you were alright. I have stuff to do, so I'll get out of your way.

D: Actually, you could do your stuff or homework or whatever in here, I don't really mind if you do to be honest. *Donnie says with a smile on his face*

*What Donnie and Rarity didn't realise was that April was watching them, now even jealous and upset at the fact that they were spending more time together. She then decides to leave unnoticed to allow her to have the time to process what was actually happening with Donnie and Rarity. She was going to keep her promise to herself and stay away from the lair for a while, to make sure that she doesn't see Rarity and Donnie together and make her do something that she doesn't want to do.*
