It's so nice to feel useful and appreciated! I remember having to change the bedsheets and hating it, while doing it at my aunt's house. But doing it for Julie is different. She didn't ask or command me to do it, I just wanted to. And after being alone for so long afterwards, this little thing feels meaningful somehow. I don't know how to feel about her sleeping here tho. She seems so scared. I should've remembered to look at the clock earlier, but we were just having such a good time. I'll just try to make this as fluffy and comfy as possible and then remove myself from the situation to give her some space. I'd love to stay near her, for a little longer, but I know I shouldn't.

Nathan carefully and quickly readied the bed for Julie, when she quietly said: "Are you preparing your bed for me?" He turned around with a smile "Of course. I know you'd rather sleep at home, but since that's not really an option right now, there's no way I'd let you sleep in my old sheets. Oh and I'll be out of the room in a second, don't worry." She looked confused "But where are you going to sleep?"

He hadn't really thought about that yet "In uhm, one of the other bedrooms."The other bedrooms are empty nowadays, but she doesn't need to know that. "Oh, I can take one of these other bedrooms then! I don't want to invade your personal space and you can have your familiar surroundings tonight." Mhm, maybe she does need to know. "No the beds in the other bedrooms are... broken, and they don't have working lights and it's very dusty in there. I'll try to repair them, but you need sleep sooner than that. And you've proven yourself trustworthy to not judge my messy room too harshly." He chuckled. Julie looked like she wanted to protest, but her tired eyes wandered towards the inviting looking bed. Then she turned towards him again: "Thank you so much for everything, again!" He smiled "Thanks for... being thankful and the Pizza and the nice evening. Sleep well." And left the room.

On his own now he wandered through the empty rooms behind the dining room. He has had to sell most of his families furniture to pay for the most necessary repairs, Internet, water, heat and his eating habits since he moved in. The big furniture was mostly gone, however he had some boxes of hopefully valuable trinkets left in some boxes. The thought of what's to come after they're gone scared him. But his current problem was finding a space to sleep. He remembered the upstairs bathrooms still had a bathtub left, just without the metallic parts, he sold those, but those aren't important for sleeping.

Oh, I forgot my blankets and pillows in my room... I can't go there anymore. Are my two Jackets from the hallway going to be able to replace them? Or a rug somewhere?

He shook his head, thinking about the ridiculousness of the Situation he'd gotten himself into for tonight. But went into the hallway again to get his Jackets, when his bedroom door opened. He jumped back, starteled. Julie stood there, holding a big blanket to cover her body. "Hey? Sorry for scaring you. I just heard you in the hallway and wanted to ask if you have a charger for my phone, eventhough yours if broken... I just wanted to ask that since it would be quite handy to have my battery charged tomorrow."

He took a second to blink himself awake and look away from the beauty of her leg and shoulders and just her in general, looking so tired and cute behind that blanket. "Oh yeah, I got one in a box underneath my Desktop, give me a second, then you can try if it fits." He hurried back into the room, trying to ignore Julies's jeans and blouse laying on the bed and quickly found the box of cables he was looking for. He was trying his hardest not to be blushing while putting it into the power outlet next to the head of the bed, where she'd be able to see him through the open door. "There we go, I hope it works!" Julie gave him the sweetest smile "Even on the risk of repeating myself too much, thank you so much!" There was no doubt about it, based on the heat of his face, he was probably red as a tomato right now.

The two of them walked sideways across each other, but before closing the door, he remembered his own situation and that he still needed a blanket out of the room himself, so he turned around, only to get a glimpse of Julies back and her gorgeous butt. He quickly closed his eyes, turned around and closed the door instead. He breathed heavily. Don't be a creep, don't be a creep, make her feel safe. Catching a glimpse of his reflection in the hallway mirror felt even more unbearable than usual in this moment, so he just walked away and up the stairs as fast as possible.
