I just want to ask why she chose to tell me, so badly. Did I somehow give away that I was trying not to develop a crush on her and... maybe failing a little. Does she just want to tell me to let me know there's never a chance for anything more than friendship between us? I would've known that myself. I don't need to know that she doesn't like to imagine the activity, to know that she wouldn't like imagining it.... with me. Or maybe... probably she didn't try to tell me anything with that. We're just getting to know each other and this is probably just a part of herself that she's been trying to share with someone for so long. Ha, kind of delusional of me to think, her sharing that story and experience had anything to do with me at all.
Nathan was starting to feel full from the breakfast, something that didn't usually happen. He really liked that feeling, the calm that came with it, the satisfaction, the feeling of his belly expanding. Eventhough he shouldn't like the last feeling, especially not if he's in company like currently. That was just not a regular occurrence. He was happy he had put on his big shirt.
"Thank you so much again, for the breakfast! I felt like it got tastier with every bite!" A big, beaming smile started to form on Julies pretty face. It immediately made him smile too. She really doesn't seem to mind watching him eat.
They had the same Uni courses today, so after getting ready they got to take the same train to Uni. On the way to the station Nathan tried really hard to walk a little faster, for her to be able to walk at a normal pace, while he showed her the way there, aswell as not breathing too heavily, but sadly these two things didn't go together very well, so he ended up sweating and panting a little more than he would've liked to. But his biggest concern, that Julie realized the extend of his unfitness, seemed to not have happened yet. He couldn't read her mind of course, but she seemed perfectly fine, while being seen in public, walking next to him. Another thing that relieved him, was that after the heavy, emotional conversations of the morning, they're back to casual fun. Talking about their favourite childhood tv shows, being nostalgic and laughing a lot together on their walk and while waiting.
He felt like he was walking on clouds. This is what it must feel like to be in these public situations with friends. It's so much more fun and less scary for sure! During the ride there, Julie offered him one side of her earphones and he gladly accepted. He felt so normal, sitting there, sharing earphones with a friends in public transportation, but to him, it didn't feel normal in the slightest.
Julie's Music was all over the place, but he loved every second of it. In the few songs they heared until they arrived, there was one pop song, that wasn't well known as far as he knew, a musical song, a metal cover of a popular song, and epic video game soundstrack song and an acoustic song that was very calming. She looked at him nervously, whenever a new song would come on, but he apparently showed how much he was enjoying every second of the ride with her so clearly, that she didn't skip any of them. He wondered if this was as normal and special to her, as it was to him, since she also wasn't used to having friends. Which he still couldn't wrap his head around, since she was so nice.
The first class the two of them visited was very interesting. It was on historical clothing and the professor seemed to be very passionate about her subject. He could follow everything clearly and took careful notes and even drew some of the stuff she demonstrated about ancient robe draping. Julie seemed even more fascinated than he was and even raised her hand once. She didn't get picked, but they talked about and it was visible, how nervous she'd been to do so, therefore he was very proud of her.
On usual days, he always felt like he had this dark cloud of his thoughts inside his head, but thanks to Julie, today felt easier. She seemed to keep the dark, heavy thoughts away. But just when he thought that today was going to be a good day, came the second lecture of the day.
