Always Protected

It was almost time time went faster. In seconds she was ripped from the man's grasp and Chifuyu stood between her and the man. "She isn't part of this." Chifuyu hissed at him. Venom in every word.

"If she isn't then maybe she should take the coat off." He smirked looking down at Rain.

Soon enough Mikey and Draken stood beside Chifuyu completely blocking her from the man. Chifuyu grabbed her hand to keep her close so no one else would take her. She stood at his back and held tightly to his jacket. Fear completely had taken over her making her freeze in place.

"Maybe you should know better then to hurt a woman!" Draken screamed lunging at the man knocking him in the middle of his face. His nose clearly broke and bleeding bad.

"Chifuyu get her home and out of here!" Mikey ordered blocking off another man coming at them.

"What about everyone?" Chifuyu questioned, hesitant to leave in the middle of a fight.

"Just go!" Draken screamed at him before taking a blow to the stomach.

Before she could try to make sense of anything she was being pulled along by Chifuyu down an alley way. He carefully looked around corners to make sure no one was there so he could get her home.

She held tightly onto his arm worried if she let go a little he would leave her. She noticed his hard breathing knowing he needed a minute of rest. "Let's stop for a minute." She says as they take another corner.

"I can't I have to get you home." He says with a huff of breath.

"If we don't stop for a minute your going to hyperventilate and we don't need that." Her voice more demanding then normal.

Her sighed and laid back against a wall. His head tossed back as he tried to collect his breath. "Please just breath." She stood in front of him and laid her head on his chest, her left hand on his right side, while he still held tightly to her right. "I'm okay just breath." She said smoothing. She needed to get him to calm and with most people they needed something or someone to ground them to make that happen.

After a few minutes he was able to collect himself. His breathing somewhat normal compared to how it was. "I'm good." She says making her let out a sigh of relief.

"Well good." The two turn their heads to see more of the men in purple, "Nice little lover you have there." There was three of them. Three on two, or more like one because Rain didn't know how to defend herself other then the little knuckles that she carried on her.

"Keep her out of this! She isn't part of any of this!" He stood in front of Rain protectively. His grip on her hand never faltered.

"But just imagine the sound we can get out of her." One of the men smirked. It was obvious they was trying to get a reaction out of Chifuyu and but how his grip was and the stance of his position it was taking a lot of will power to not give the satisfaction.

Chifuyu let go of her hand and with out turning to look at her, "Run."

"I can't leave you." She refused to move.

"Rain I said run!" She started to back away but ran into a body. Turning it was a man with black hair the dropped to about his shoulder blades. He had a hair tie between his teeth as he pulled his hair up.

"Always having to save you ass huh?" The man said with a crooked grin. The man now with his hair tied up walked around her and beside Chifuyu, "Like old times?"

"Like old times." Chifuyu says before the two jump towards the others.

Both moved almost in sync with each other as every blow hit its target dead on. It was as if the two trained together and they knew exactly what they were gonna do next. One of the men in purple ended up circling around them and came at Chifuyu and this new guy from the back, he didn't see Rain as she had herself hidden behind a dumpster.

She quickly moved to block the bat he had swinging at the dark hair male. The bat hit her arm hard. The pain radiated from her arm to the rest of her body. After the other two men in purple was down, Chifuyu and the man, who she assumed his friend, turned around. Rain stood there blocking the bat and every blow. They was already fighting themselves the least she could do was protect them right? To her it didn't matter if she was injured.

A punch came around her and hit the man in the face instantly forcing him into a brick wall cracking it some. "Rain!" Chifuyu is instantly grabbing at her arms to inspect the damage. Both arms were littered with deep purple marks. Her arms hurt like a bitch but she was able to move both meaning they are not broken.

"Come on let's go." Chifuyu hooks a finger with hers and pulls her along with the black haired boy followed behind the two.

Carefully they was able to get back to the apartment with no more issues. When they got there she went to go pull her key out of her backpack that she some how still had on. Her arms instantly burning in pain as she tried to move the backpack off.

"Where are they at I'll get them?" The black haired said with a slight annoyance in his voice.

"The small pocket on the bottom." She answers.

After he retrieved the keys he tossed them to Chifuyu and finally the three entered the home. "Sit." Chifuyu pointed at her couch.

She did as told as he went to get ice packs for her arms. "I'll be okay really." She tried to convince him. But Chifuyu wasn't having it.

"Why are you so calm about this?" The black hair male ask. "You just got you ass beet with a bat and stood there like it was nothing."

Rain went quite at the question. How could she answer that without letting her secrets out. She knew she had to say something. "I just wanted to protect you." She said in a hushed tone.

"You acted like you had done this before." Chifuyu crouched in front of her with a big zip lock bag of ice for her to put her arms on. "Rain be honest with me okay?" She just nodded her head. "When your dad if here what happens?"

She bit her lip and looked down at her arms. Her hands started to shake and tears came in her eyes. "Please don't tell any one." She said with trembling words.

It was like a light switch with both men that stood in her home. The black haired jumped to his feet fist balled up, "I'll beat a bastard!"

"Please. Please don't!" She grabbed his pants and tugged on the to get his attention, "He use to not be like this. I know we can go back to the way we was just please let me fix him!" Her eyes begged in ways her words couldn't.

"If he puts his hands on you I can't promise anything." Chifuyu says making her shoot her head to face him, "But we won't tell any one."
