Rain walked out with the other three and was getting ready to head home. "Can I have your number?" Emma asked, "I feel like we can be good friends."
Rain was hesitant at first but decided to anyway. She gave a nod and grabbed Emma's phone she had handed out and put in her contact information. "We'll hang out later okay?" Hinata said as the parted ways. Rain just nodded and gave a small wave at the three. For the first time in a week she had a small smile on her face. Maybe this was a new beginning for her to start.
The smile didn't last long after she got home. Unlocking her door with her new key she was reminded of the hell that she lives in. The apartment was dark as she hadn't replaced and broken light bulbs giving it even more of a nasty feel to it. Letting out a sigh she went to go walk in but before she did she turned feeling eyes on her. Turning around she saw someone that just made her heart shatter more.
Chifuyu stood down on the ground looking up at her. He never told the guys he would come and sit outside her home. At first he started doing it in hopes to catching who it was that broke the bond but it eventually turned into his only way to get close to her again. Rain stood there looking at him as he pulled a white bag out from behind him. He sat it down at the corner of the dumpster.
He never did anything to scare her and he never tried to go to her home. He just sat outside protecting. Chifuyu stood back up and looked again to see her still standing outside her home. With a simple nod he got onto his bike and drove away. No words exchanged, no touching reunion, just a simple goodbye.
Everything in Rain screamed to go inside and lock the door but a small part of her wanted to know what he left. Putting her items inside on the floor the decided to take the leap and walk down the stairs. It was a simple white plastic bag that was tied off at the top to keep the contents inside.
She crouched down to it and carefully opened it. Inside was a black wooden frame and she teared up at the sight. Inside was a picture of her mother. It wasn't the same picture as the one that had got ripped. She recognized it as a picture that was taken of her mother when she worked at the local hospital. Even behind her you can still make out the banner that said Employee Of The Month.
She hugged the frame to her chest as a small wave or relief came over her. She had something with her mom again beside the tore fabric that once was shirts. "Mom." She whispered as she hugged the object. Something else in the bag caught her eye making her open the bag more. Inside was a small to go bowl of ramen and a letter. Before she decided to investigate more she picked up the bag and carried it to her home. Once back inside she sat the bag on the floor next to her bed and grabbed the note from it.
Rain,
I can't imagine how it feels and I'm not going to try to convince you to come back. I know you need time to figure out what to do now and I know that we need to wait untill your ready. But please don't hate us without all the information. I know I can write down anything in hopes you'll believe me but it all comes down to you. It's up to you if you decide to let us back in. We all miss you and we all want to help you. We are trying to find who is responsible so we can get everything fixed so please just dont give up on us. We want everything to be figured out so we can be a family again.
Chifuyu
She noticed as she unfolded the note a picture had fell out. Picking it up she seen it was the picture from graduation where her and the entire gang had someone take a picture of them all. The memory coming to her head as if it was fresh and brand new.
"Chifuyu." She let out a sob and wrapped both arms around her stomach as if shelding the unborn child. Carefully opening the frame her mother's picture was in the she carefully folded the note as if it would fall do dust any minute. She placed the picture and note behind her mother's picture and assembled the frame again. "Mom," She tapped her forehead on the glass of the frame, "What do I do?"
Her phone chimed beside her and she looked to see a message for an unknown number. She unlocked her phone and looked at the message. It was a message from Emma inviting her out with then tonight. She looked around her room before messaging back with a sure. Her home was dark, eerie, and depressed and he knew it drug her down with it. She knew if he planned to have this baby she needed to get out of this slump before it did something to her body and maybe Emma would be the light she needed in the dark. They hand agreed to meet later that evening infront of the store where they met.
The rumble of her stomach reminds her that she still hadn't ate and she looked down at the bowl of ramen. Picking it up she opened it and the smell alone made her mouth water. She quickly dug in and ate all the noodles after moments of it being open. She moaned at the taste. One thing Chifuyu learned quick was the foods she loved ramen being a favorite.
