With it now being midnight all of the guys slept around the small hospital room. It seemed about as peaceful as it could possibly get at the moment. Rain's monitor beeped with her heart beat as it also read her heart rate. She had a IV in her arm giving her liquids that her body needed.

Draken sat on the floor laid against the wall while Chifuyu and Baji shared the couch and Mikey slept in the chair. Neither boys was as comfortable as they would be if at the apartment but all four was willing to deal with it for Rain. She was one of them after all.

Suddenly all four were being shoved awake by nurses telling them they needed to leave. "What's going on?" Draken asked as a nurse helped him off the floor.

The sounds of rapid beating came from the monitors. "What's happening to her?" Chifuyu screamed being shoved out of the room

"She is going into cardiac arrest!" A nurse answered.

"No I can't leave her!" Baji screams, "If she wakes up alone she will think I'm not there! She has nightmares and if I'm not there to help she will be hurt!" Baji fought against the nurses causing all of the others to have to help pull him from the room. "No I can't leave her!" Baji screamed again.

"Sir if you don't leave where we can help her she will die." A doctor ran up to him trying to him trying to convince him to move.

After finally getting baji to move the doctors rush out of the room with Rain in her bed. "CPR now!" A doctor yelled as the doors shut behind them. The operating light lighting up over the door.

"This can't be happening." Mikey looked broken as he looked up at the light.

"We can't give up on her." Draken says standing behind them.

"She has to be okay." Chifuyu pleaded.

Baji dropped to his knees feeling defeated. He didn't know what to do as the doctor's words rang through his head. If you don't leave she will die was his only thought as he sat on the floor. He slowly slid from his knees to sitting completely on the floor with his legs resting to the sides of him. He silently pleaded to the door to let her make it out alive. He knew it wasn't just him making the plea either, all four of them were.

Chifuyu walked to Baji and leaned down and hooked their arms together. "Come on let's get out of the floor." His voice low.

Baji just nodded and leaned against his friend for support. The four of them ended up sitting on one of the benches that lines the walls of the hospital. It was quite as it was late into the night. They watched as multiple doctors and nurses entered the room Rain was in but none would come out.

Everytime the would see someone go in they would perk up to them with desperation in their eyes earning a saddned look in return. At this point they just wanted to be told something, an update or something. They was all desperate enough to be told she didn't make it if it meant they was given some kind of information.

After a few hours the guys had fallen asleep again except for Chifuyu. His eyes heavy as he struggled to stay awake. He was crouched forward with his elbows on his knees as he played a dumb game to pass time and keep him awake. He rubbed his eyes as a yawn escaped him.

"Are you with Ms Hordi?" A nurse asked softly to him.

Chifuyu jumped from his seat now wide awake, "Please say she is alive."

"She in alive." The nurse nodded at him. Tears filled his eyes as relief washed over him. He leaned forward in a bow position with his hands holding his legs as he let the new settle in. He let the news settle over him. The nurse rubbed his back as he let everything out. "But." She started.

He instantly shot up, "But? Why is there a but?" His voice frantic.

"She will be in ICU," She continues, "And because of how bad her condition is she won't be able to have any guest."

"Why?" Chifuyu asked.

"If she would drop again like she did it could be fatal to her. So because of that we have to be more cautious." She says with her hand still rubbing his back.

"You can't have people in the way." Chifuyu added.

"Sadly yes." The nurses voice clear with her own sadness to the situation.

"I'll get them up," Chifuyu looked up at her wiping away a tear, "And I'll explain everything to them."

The nurse just nodded and left him to break the news. He knew the one that would be hard would be Baji so he planned to wake him last.

He slowly walked to Draken and Mikey and shook them awake. Once they was he explained what the nurse told him. Of course they was as sad about it as Chifuyu. "Let's get Baji out of here before we tell him." Mikey says looking between the two.

"It might be easier to get him out if we wait." Draken admits. Chifuyu nodded agreeing with them. They ended up getting the man up telling him they was going to the apartment to rest. He nodded in his sleepy state and the four left.

They didn't get back to the apartment untill close to three in the morning. Chifuyu unlocking the door with the other three waiting behind him. When the door opened a cold gust of wind exited. All of the lights off giving it an eery feel, it didn't have the warm cozy feeling they was all use to.

Mikey walked with Rain's backpack over his shoulder as he held the straps, "What was so important that you two had to leave?" It was the question everyone wanted to ask.

Chifuyu just walked over to him and grabbed the backpack and opened it pulling out the small box that held Draken's present. "She got you this," Chifuyu looked down, "For your birthday."

With everything that had happened during the day everyone had forgotten that today was Draken's birthday. Instead of opening it he walked to the counter and placed it there. "She will see it be opened." Draken then walked down the hallway and into the new guest room.

"I guess that's our queue for sleep." Chifuyu says.

The two nodded at him. Mikey took the couch and Baji in the chair, while Chifuyu chose Rain's bed. That night no matter how hard the four tried to sleep none of them did. They all just laid in silence wishing that day had a different outturn.
