The door opened to Mikey and Draken walking inside. It's was early in the morning maybe about two am. Baji had made himself comfortable on the chair across the room while Chifuyu sat up sleeping and Rain laid down on the couch with her head laid in his lap, his arm protectivelyaround her. Mikey was the first one to see the dark purple on her arms. Both of them had the same thought. They had to know what happened.

Mikey went to go wake the guys up before draken placed a hand on his shoulder. Mikey turned around and looked at him a little confused, "Let them sleep we can ask questions tomorrow."

Makey just nodded and walked back the the room he had slept in before and instantly went to sleep. Draken made himself comfortable on the floor and soon drifted off himself.

That morning when Rain woke up she still laid with her head on Chifuyu and her hand had fallen off the couch. Moving her fingers she felt a skin under her hand. Quickly looking she noticed she had pushed her hand under Chifuyu's grey shit. Quickly she retracted her hand. Setting up she noticed Baji, the guy who had helped Chifuyu, asleep in the chair and Draken on the floor. She smiled softly. Everyone her mother had passed she just wanted friends. She had lost both her best friends when her mother passed, her mother and father. Looking around at the people in her house she realized she was no longer alone.

She stood from the couch and walked to the bathroom to do her morning routine. Walking out she didn't expect Mikey to be leaned against the wall outside the doorway of her father room. He had his arms crossed and his eyes on his feet.

"Morning." She whispered.

His head came up at the sound of her voice. Walking over to her he softly held her arms. Both arms still the angry purple they was the night before. "What happened?" He asked.

"We ran into some people." She says then looks at the clock on the wall. It was six thirty am, she had an hour to get to school. "I would stay to talk but I have to get to school." She went to pull her arms away but he stopped her. Pulling her into the room he grabs some bandages that was sat on the dresser. She remembered putting them there the last time her father had gotten hurt.

He carefully wrapped her arms with the bandage. "None of us wanted you to get hurt." He admits as he finished.

She just nodded not knowing what to say. It was as if everything was caught in her throat. He let's her go and her arms softly fall to her side. The only thing she could do was wrap her arms around him and hug him tight. She whispered him a thank you as she hugged his neck. He slowly hugged her back and buried his head in her neck.

Theu stood like that for a few minutes before she had told him she had to leave for school. Running into her room she changes into her uniform and grabs her bag she needed. Before leaving she told Mikey to make sure they locked up before leaving.

The walk to school passed by faster then normal, mostly because she was stuck in her head about everything that had happened over the weekend. How it all started over Chifuyu on Friday when she found him in a fight. Being the daughter of a doctor she wasn't able to bring herself to just leave him bleeding the way he was.

Then came Mikey and Draken who she had met before and had helped her with the customer situation. Then Baji, she could already tell by the small amount of time that he has a firey personality with a high spunk at life. Of course he may be unhinged kind of person but he still seemed like good people.

She also remembered the two strange men that had come into the restaurant Saturday night. They talked about how they had to put a gang in their place. Maybe she would need to ask the guys about them to see if they know who they are.

Stepping into school she felt like she was put in a different world compared to what had happened over the weekend. She would necessarily call it a calmer world but definitely different. No fights breaking out being a number one reason. Although if it was up to her she would have stayed in the world of this weekend if she could have.

Rain was one who got bullied, at least not a physical or verbal way. She was more of the girl that got left out of stuff, the one who sat in the back of the room. The one who had no friends. She never really fit into the school life like everyone else did and she was completely okay with that.

School passed as normal and soon enough it was time to leave. Asking out of the building and into the sun she smiled for the first time in years for once she was happy to leave school and go home. Her phone chimed in her pocket, taking it out and looking she seen it was her boss sending the schedule for the next week. She was off today but would have to work tomorrow after school.

She quickly walked home wanting to rest her brain from the day. When she got home the door was unlocked which was strange. She had clearly remembered to tell Mikey to lock up when they left. She opened the door and to her surprise everyone was piled up in the living room watching movies. "Your home." Draken says as she opened the door.

"Hey guys." She smiled at them as she shut the door behind her.

"How was school?" Chifuyu asked.

"Ugh I hated school!" Baji jumped in his opinion.

"If it wasn't for school we never would have met!" Chifuyu backfired.

The two went on to a arguing fit almost sounding like an old married couple. She couldn't help herself but smile at the small banter that the two brought. It was nice.

"I have to go get ready," She said before slowing moving her foot side to side, "Would yall like to go out with me?"

"What's the special occasion?" Mikey asked standing up from the floor.

"It's the third year anniversary of mom's death." Her voice a hushed tone.

"We'd be more then happy to go." Draken stands from the couch along with Chifuyu, Baji standing from the chair.

She nodded at them and left to her room to dress into something her mother would love her to wear. He mom never like her wearing black, not that Rain was forced to no wear it but her mother always said the she looked best in beautiful sundresses.

Going to her closet she grabbed a dress that sat in a dress bag and pulled it out. Inside was a grey sundress with a white floral pattern on it. This was the last dress her and her mother had picked out together meaning it was the only outfit she would wear to go see her mother. Putting on some black slippers she felt she was ready until she touched her neck. Her necklace.

Walking to her bed, looking above the headboard, she looked at the wall to see the silver pendant resting on its hook that was on the wall. Grabbing it she attempted to put it on but with the condition her arms are it it hurt to move them to much.

As if her mind was read a hand reached around her and grabbed ahold of the chain. Looking up in the mirror it was Mikey. He carefully moved her hair and brought the chain around her neck and clasped it together. "So what's the story behind this?" He couldn't help but ask.

"It was my mom's and it has the only picture inside of her that I have." She softly brushed her fingers along it feeling the texture. "I don't have much of her. My father disappeared with most of it, I just have the one single picture in here and a few of her clothes. All of it is very important to me." She smiled twisting the pendant through her fingers.

"Is that why you don't wear it?" He asked.

She turned to look at him, "I don't want it getting lost or stolen. So I usually only wear it to visit her."

The two stayed quiet for a moment before Baji came to her bedroom door. He held the wall as he leaned inside. "Are we going yet?" This time he didn't speak with annoyance in his voice.

Maybe he is starting to warm up to me. She smiled at the thought.
