The weeks passed quickly and before anyone knew it was time for the case to come off. Mikey, Draken, and Baji sadly couldn't be with Rain to get it off but to her luck she had Chifuyu. Over the weeks the two have grown closer and he wouldn't leave her side untill she was healed.

"So what do you want to do first?" Chifuyu ask as the two walk out of the clinic with her leg now free from the cast.

"I want to run!" She said with a sparkle in her eyes. She hasn't been able to move as freely as she would like to sense the cast was put on her. She also had another day to rest up before he had to go back to work. So this would be the perfect time right?

"I don't think you are ready for that yet." Chifuyu smiled at her.

"Awe come on!" Rain whined at him.

"Come on stop crying like a kid." Chifuyu smiled at her.

"Mister mean ass." She mumbled crossing her arms over her chest.

"Look I'll make you a deal," He turns his body to face her while he gently held her shoulders, "If your doing okay by tomorrow we can see about that run." His smile true to his words.

"Okay!" She cheered throwing her arms into the air, a determined look in her eyes.

"How about we start with lunch?" Chifuyu suggested instead, earning a excited nod from Rain. The two went to, of all places, her job. The gang had gotten to where they would go there often to eat while Rain worked. All of them making sure they left her plenty of tips to make sure Rain could live as comfortable as she could.

The guys made good money doing jobs within the gang as they had some people hire them for protection and so on with other jobs. Some jobs Chifuyu had done in the past made him hide that side of himself from Rain as he didn't want to scare her off. He didn't want to lose her and now as close as they have gotten he couldn't see his life without her in it. It would seem like a dull life. One he didn't want to live.

The two sat there talking and eating lunch with many looks from her coworkers. Most likely gossiping about how she is eating with him. Yes they would come pick her up but that was always later at night meaning no one on the day shift knew about her friends she had other then Smiley and Angry who would walk her to work after school. It took her forever for her coworkers to understand that it was just friends to her.

The time passed quickly as the two sat there eating and talking about random things. Before long the two left both holding a smile on their faces. "Let's take a walk." Rain suggests looking up at him as she stood by his side.

Obviously Chifuyu didn't disagree with her. He wanted to keep that smile on her face whether it meant taking a walk or standing in the rain. The two chatted as they slowly made their way towards the park where she would go with her mother. The park where baji shared his snacks with Rain but no one else.

Chifuyu almost felt as if it was a date to them as the sun slowly started sinking. "Stay here," Chifuyu spoke, "Have to use the bathroom I'll be right back."

"Okay." She smiled sitting down on the bench.

Chifuyu quickly ran off to the bathrooms but when he returned he wasn't expecting what he had seen. Rain was forcefully pulled from the bench by two men who clearly wanted more then a friendly chat as both were clearly drunk. "Let me go!" Rain fought with them to free herself.

"Such a pretty face." One slurred.

"Would look better sucking me off." The other joined. He reached to touch her body but a hand stopped him. "What the hell!" The man turned to see who had stopped him.

Chifuyu stood there with his hand in a hard grasp. If looks could kill both men would have dropped dead. Daggers coming out of his eyes stabbing both men. "She said let her go." His voice low but ragefull.

"And who are you?" The man holding Rain turned towards him.

"You worse nightmare." Chifuyu growled easily tossing the man he held to the ground.

He landed with a thud as he slid over the small pebbles along the playground edge. The other man tossed Rain to the concrete sidewalk and looked angrily at the smaller male. "Your just a tiny kid," he smirked down at Chifuyu, who's gaze was fixed on the girl on the ground, "Your noting to be scared of." He raised his fist ready to hit but instead grunted in pain.

Chifuyu kneed the man in the stomach making the man spit out blood. The man fell to the ground at Chifuyu's feet. The sliding sound of a blade came behind him as the second man was stood at his feet and a switch blade in one hand. "Your just a shrimp!" The man yelled charging at Chifuyu. He easily dodged it and the man passed him.

Chifuyu grabbed his arm that held the blade and bent it backwards, the sound of the bone breaking came clear. Chifuyu tossed him to the ground and kicked him in the head. Chifuyu stayed in a rage filled state as he continues to stomp on the man. He couldn't see anything except the face Rain made when he first spotted them. Fear painted on her face like a canvas.

"Chifuyu stop!" Rain grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the man on the ground.

"They hurt you!" Chifuyu screamed as he tried to escape her.

"Chifuyu!" She grabbed his face and made him look at her, "Chifuyu I'm fine we have to go!"

The sound of sirens came to his ears. Quickly he grabbed Rain's hand and pulled her behind him as they ran away from the scene. They passed by through town quickly and finally found themselves back at the apartment. Both panted heavy as they were both oit if breath.

"Are you okay?" Chifuyu asked with heavy breathing turning to look at Rain and check her over himself.

"I'm fine," She smiled, "All thanks to you."

Chifuyu laid his hand over her cheek, red from running so long. The two paused and just looked at eachother never noticing that they slowly came closer together. Chifuyu paused right before their lips met, about to pull away but stopped by Rain as she pulled him closer to their lips touching.

The both kissed hungrily as if the two had not been around a person before, almost as if they was touched starved. Chifuyu backed her up against a concrete wall as his hand went onto her waist almost as if he was using her to ground himself.

"Chifuyu," She panted as he started down her neck, "Not out here. Upstairs."
