The hospital kept her for another four days after she was released from ICU and today she finally gotten to go home. She never told the guys about the guy who claimed to be Baji's friend. She just wanted to get everything back to normal. She wanted to go back to her apartment with her family and have the good times again.

"Ready?" Draken asked pulling her from her thoughts.

She turned away from the window and looked at him as he grabbed her last bag. "Yes." She gave a bright smile showing her teeth to him.

Moving in her crutches she carefully turned around. Baji at her side making sure she wouldn't fall. Chifuyu and Mikey outside with Mitsuya in his truck to take them home. Carefully she walked out of the room with both Draken and Baji walking at her sides. She was offered a wheelchair to walk her out but she refused. She wanted to  do this on her own.

Once down at the bottom floor they walked out the doors to see the three outside with smiles on their faces. "We finally get to go home." Rain laughed.

"Good," Baji groans walking to the maroon truck, "Can't stand hospitals."

"Where are Baji and Chifuyu's bike?" Rain asked noticing there was only Mikey's and Draken's.

"Back at the apartment," Chifuyu opens the back door of the truck, "We are going to ride with you in the truck. Draken and Mikey are going to be on bikes."

Rain nodded and walked over to the open door of the maroon truck. She tried to get it but never realized how hard it would be with a full leg cast on her.

"Here let me help." Chifuyu offers helping her into the truck.

"I can't get my legs to stay on the seat." She giggled as the cast kept pushing her good leg off the seat as she sat longways across the seat.

Chifuyu just smiled at her and carefully climbed in and laid her legs over his lap as he sat in the middle. He placed one arm around her legs to keep them in the seat. "Ready?" Mitsuya asked looking at the two and the nodded.

Mitsuya shut the door for them and climbed into the driver seat. "What about Baji?" As the question left her mouth there was a loud thud from the bed of the truck making Rain jump.

"Boy if you break my truck I'm gonna break your bike!" Mitsuya yelled out the window followed by Baji's laughing.

"Let's go!" Baji slapped the side of the truck signaling for everyone to get moving.

Mikey ended up riding in front of the truck with Draken followed behind, both on their bikes, as Baji rode in the bed. On the ride to the apartment Rain slowly drifted off to sleep and ended with her head rested on Chifuyu's shoulder. "What do I do?" Chifuyu quietly panicked to Mitsuya.

"Just let her sleep," He says never taking his eyes off the road, "Plus you like her don't you?" Chifuyu could see the cocked eyebrow that belonged to the man driving. "Might be your chance." Mitsuya shook his shoulders in a teasing manner.

"Shut up man its not like that?" Chifuyu tried to argue back as he slowly rubbed his hand up and down Rain's back.

"The others may not see it but I do. Who in their right mind would refuse help from a doctor just because the person they wanted to be doctored by was being a patient herself." Mitsuya pointed out.

"I had to make sure she was okay." Chifuyu tried to argue back.

"That's more then just making sure she is okay," Mitsuya glanced at him through the mirror before his eyes went back on the road, "You are wrapped around that girl's finger so tightly."

She moved slightly in her sleep and her arm snaked around his waist holding herself closer to him. Once she gotten herself still again he continued to rub the small of her back. "I promise she is just a friend." Chifuyu looks at her softly brushing some hair behind her ear.

"What ever you say man." Mitsuya smiles glancing at them one last time through the mirror.

The truck went quite after that as the two guys fell in a comfortable silence. Sadly it didn't stay that way as the heard Baji scream happily as they got closer to the apartment. Chifuyu turned to see Baji stood in the bed with him looking along the roof of the truck. Chifuyu smiled and shook his head at his friend's action, his focus going back to the girl asleep at his side.

Maybe there was a part of him that hopes for a relationship with her but he couldn't risk losing her if it didn't work. If being just a friend to her was his way to stay in her live then he would do it. He would be the best friend that she needed and he could hide how he truly felt. Their friendship meant to much to him to risk for his own desires.

After the truck went quite he just sat there brushing his fingers through her hair, holding her close as well. He just wanted to hold her and make sure she was safe from everyone else. He knew that the others wouldn't hurt her but he knew her life up untill then was hard. She didn't have to tell him the whole story for him to be able to put the pieces together.

She lost her mother and her father beat her. She was forced to pay for everything at a young age even though she was still in school. He wanted to completely know everything of her past but he wanted to wait for her to come to him first.

Soon the truck comes to a stop outside of the apartment. Chifuyu slowly leaned down and places a soft kiss on her forehead. "Not in love my ass." He looked to see Mitsuya turned around looking at them.

"Shut up," Chifuyu's attention went back to the sleeping girl in his arms, "Come on Rain we are home." He gently wakes her.
