Always Protected

"Isn't it to early for a ride?" Chifuyu groaned rubbing sleep from his eyes.

"It's not my fault you all stayed up all night instead of sleeping," Rain pointed out, "And plus I need some stuff from the market."

"And what do we need?" He asked as they walked down the steps.

"Well what's today?" She asked as she walked ahead of him.

"I don't know," He pulls out his phone, "May tenth?"

"And what's today?" She asked trying to let him figure it out. He shrugged his shoulders. "It's Draken's birthday!" She exclaimed as they reached the bottom floor.

"Oh shit your right." Chifuyu yawned, "But why are we up at seven in the morning because of this?"

"Well I want to do something for him." She stopped at his bike waiting on him.

Once he made it over he stretched one last time before swinging his leg over it. He straightened it up and kicked the kick stand back up into its position. "We'll come on." He looks at her and she quickly grabbed her helmet off Mikeys bike and put it on.

"Yes dad." She giggled getting on behind him.

"Yep listen to your elders." Chifuyu smiled as she locked her arms around his waist.

"Your only a year older then me!" She yelled as the bike came to life.

He just shook his head as he rolled the bike backwards before the two took off into the early morning. All the shops were just starting to open as they passed by. She had one place in mind she wanted to get him a gift from. She wanted him to have a gift that could mean a lot to him.

They get to a necklace shop and Chifuyu kills the bikes engine. With the kick stand down they both got off leaving the helmets on the bikes.

Walking inside the bell chimed. "Welcome!" The owner met them at the counter. "What can I do for you?"

"I'm looking for a necklace to hold a picture." She replied.

"So these are over here," She led Rain over to a different side of the shop, "Any special look your looking for?"

"Maybe one that looks like it could be a regular dog tag?" She asked.

"So we have these three." The owner pulls out a black, a gold, and a silver one.

"How much is the black one?" Rain asked.

"It will be 3,863.48*." She answered.

"I'll take that one." Rain smiles taking out her wallet from her backpack.

After paying for it they go to a photo store to get the picture she wanted in it sized and printed off. She chose the picture of her and the four guys. She remembered the day like it was yesterday.

She had snuck up on them and forced them to take a picture with her. She was in front of everyone smiling bright as the rest of the guys had their normal faces they would have with pictures. The face where the looked like they was ready to fight. She knew that it was a cover they use to protect themselves and the ones the care about. After getting the picture printed she had Chifuyu help put it in the necklace before they headed back to the apartment.

"Do you think he will like it?" She asked holding it in her hand like I was the most important thing on the planet.

"If it comes from you he'll love it." Chifuyu answered honestly. 

"I hope so." She lightly kisses it before putting it in her backpack.

"Ready?" Chifuyu turned to look at her.

"Yep!" She smiled.

"No your not." He replies to her.

"What?" She looked confused at him.

He handed her helmet and she face palmed her forehead. She quickly put it on and clips it under her chin. "Now I am." She grinned at him.

He nodded at her and started the bike up again. Rain leaned against his back and once again locked her arms around his waist. She rested her head again his bavk looking to the side seeing the buildings pass by them. The aire felt nice as it raced across her arms and legs as Chifuyu drive them back to the apartment.

But everything changed in an instant. A harsh hit from the back of the bike sent them flying. Everything moved slow as Rain felt herself fly into the air. It wasn't untill that she hit the concrete that the world shut off for her. She slid across the concrete causing her body to be cut up badly with road rash. She slid across the concrete and ended up pressed against the side of a building at her back and the bike at her front, sandwiching her between the two objects.

Chifuyu was thrown into a grass patch beside the same building after he finished sliding one the concrete as well. He groaned and picked up his head slowly to watch as a black car quickly sped off and away from the scene. Blood fell from his hair line as his clothes were now severally cut up with blood slowly soaking up into the fabric. Multiple cuts lined his face and arms as he used his arms to hold his helmet in place to keep from sever head damage.

"Rain!" He called out to her looking frantically. He jumped up as quick as his body would allow, with all the new damage, and called for her again, "Rain!" He looked around untill he saw her being crushed by the bike. He went to run ti her but his left leg gave out making him have to limp to her. "Rain answer me!" Be pleaded for any slight noise.

Once he got to her he shoved the bike off her. He noticed it laid on top of one of her legs making it got a deep purple due to blood loss to it from the heaviness of the bike.

Once the bike was off her her took off her helmet and threw it to the side. "Rain please wake up!" He screamed at her. He watched as her chest slowly coming to a stop indicating the wasn't breathing.

Picking her up the best he could he limped his way towards the hospital that was a few blocks from where they currently was. He had to get her there. He kept a hand on her writs making sure her pulse was still there. If was faint but there.

Once at the hospital she goes in screaming for help. "Please! Someone help her!"

Nurses rush to him and take Rain from his arms placing her on a gurney. They rushed her deeper into the hospital. "Sire come with me you need looked at." A nurse tried to tell him.

"Don't worry about me," He pleaded with tears coming down his face, "Just save her!"
