Waking up from her sleep it was now seven in the evening the sun started to set. She stood and picked up her discarded plate and walked into the kitchen. A hard knock came from her door before it was broken open. Rain quickly turned and dropped the glass plate as it shattered on the floor. At the door stood her father the one man she had come to fear.
"What are you doing here she asked taking a step back as he took one forward.
"Here to get what's mine." He answered.
"What is yours?" Rain asked as he back connected with the wall. She quickly grabbed a knife sitting on the counter next to her and held it between them.
"You don't need to concern yourself with that." He cackled reaching into his jacket and pulling a gun.
"Why are you doing this Dad?" She asked tears coming from her eyes.
"Don't fucking call me that." He hissed, "I never have been and never will be your father."
"What do you mean?" He voice broken.
"I didn't sleep with the whore you call a mother! I never conceived you!" He screamed. Rain didn't have anything she could say to thoes words. "I got with her because I knew she would be loaded." He continues his story, "And when I found out she was pregnant with you I tried to get her to abort. I tried to get her to just let you go and she couldn't. She was weak!"
"What do you mean?" Rain looked at him with watery doe eyes.
"Your mother was a weak woman and always let other walk over her," He took another step towards her, "That's why I came in the picture. I was in a hole money wise and your mother was more then willing to pay for it if it meant she would be loved and her child cared for."
"No." Rain whispered falling to her knees.
"If it meant she wasn't alone I could tell her any lie I wanted," His face full of spite, "One thing I couldn't get her to do was about the bastard of a baby!"
"Stop." Rain covered her ears with her hands and looked down.
"She didn't even know who the father was!" He continued over her pleading, "A baby with a father who didn't want it and a mother that was such a fucking pushover. I'm still not sure as to why she decided to keep you. I guess your just as stupid as her."
Rain's head jerked up at the insult thrown at her mother and anger filled her. "Don't talk about my mom like that!" She screamed at him.
"You in no position to be telling orders." He reminds her of the gun in his hand that was pointed right at her.
Think Rain she thought to herself.
"If you have a gun pointed at you make sure to keep a watch on their stance no matter hoe big or small they are there's always a weak point you can take them down." Drakens voice rang in her head.
Carefully she watched his every move and soon she was introduced to the weak spot. It was when he changed hands with the gun. Quickly she stood and charged at him making him successfully drop the gun and with the knife she plunged in into his arm.
"Shit!" He screamed before grabbing Rain by her hair and lifting her off him. She screamed at the pain as he head her off the ground by her hair. He tossed her to the side and she smashed into a wall the back of her head connecting to the wall then to the floor as she fell after.
Leaning down he picked up the gun again, "So your bitch of a mother, after all that time of me being there, she left everything to you! A bastard child that shouldn't have lived! But it's okay bc you can't give something to someone if their dead." His lips turned into a evil smile as he pulled at the trigger.
The bank of the gun rang through her head as it vibrated off the walls. Only thing is she never felt the bullet hit her. She groaned and opened her eyes to see Chifuyu standing infront of her. He stood with bother arms stretched out but he stagged for a minute before falling to the floor.
"Bastard!" Baji screamed punching the man.
Chifuyu feel to the floor and Rain crawled to him. "No!" She held his head in her lap as she felt for a puls,, "Chifuyu no you can't leave me! You can't leave us!" Baji dropped down beside them as sirens were heard outside.
"On the third floor!" You could head a man yell outside.
"Please Chifuyu," She begged as tears came down her face, "I can't raise this baby with out you."
The first time she had said it out loud around others and it had to be while Chifuyu was bleeding out on her floor.
