Zara's POV
After about two or three days, Silver finally woke up, which made me really happy. I wanted to hug her but her wounds from the tiger hybrid weren't healed yet. So I resisted the urge of hugging.
"Silver, you're alive!" I exclaimed. "I thought that tiger hybrid had taken your life."
"I'm okay I think." Silver said meekly. "It just hurts to move."
I handed her some food that Haze had put in. It was just some kind of green slop with a stale piece of bread. Silver ate it with a disgusted look on her face. Then she noticed my wounds. Haze had had me fight when she was out cold. I mostly had cuts on my arms and bite marks on my shoulder. Nothing too serious. Silver stared at the stale piece of bread she was eating trying not to look at my injuries. I could already tell that she felt guilty.
"Its not your fault." I said reassuringly.
"I know but you're still hurt." Silver sighed.
I tried to think of something to cheer her up a little bit.
"How about we sing a song to get our minds off the fighting?" I suggested. Silver looked up confused.
"We don't know any songs." She said.
"We can make one up." I replied. Silver simply nodded. I thought for a moment for some good happy lyrics but we were always surrounded by sadness and despair. After a few minutes of thinking, I found out one part. It still sounded pretty sad but at least it won't be that bad. I started to sing.
