Blue's POV

Let's just say... that carrying this girl back home... was not easy.

Seriously, I have bruises on my face and stomach from her fighting back. But I can't help but wonder how she got all those wounds in the first place. Some of them look really old and still bleed every now and then.

"Can you at least tell us your name so we know what to call you?" I asked once we got home.

"Blue, she doesn't remember." Red informed me.

"Don't believe that." I countered setting the girl down on the couch. Pretty sure she couldn't walk when she's that injured so there's nothing to worry about.

"I'll go get the first aid kit." Green said going into the kitchen.

"Do you really not know your name?" Vio asked the girl.

"Why do you want to know my name anyway?" The girl growled crossing her arms. She didn't even look at us.

None of us answered. Just what in the name of the goddesses happen to her?

"If you humans absolutely must know then my name is Silver." She sighed.

"That's a nice name." Red chimed in.

"If you don't mind me asking, just how did you get those wounds of yours?" Vio asked.

Silver said nothing. She only looked down. That's when Green came in with the first aid kit. Silver scooted away from my brother and growled slightly.

Silver's POV

That bag that Green had gave off a really weird smell which made me light headed. Well I was already light headed. Maybe its the blood loss. After all, I never got my wounds healed for what ten to twelve years. I growled at him, warning the boy to keep his distance.

"Easy now. We're not gonna hurt you." Green said.

"And how can I trust you?" I spat. "Or any human in this world."

"You mean you're not human?" Red asked. I don't believe it. If these humans can't tell that I'm clearly not one of them, then they're the dumbest ones on earth.

"Do you not see these wolf parts I have?" I growled presenting them with my tail and ears.

No one said anything after that.

"So now that you know I'm not human, I'll be on my way." I said trying to stand up. It failed.... horribly. Once weight was applied to my legs, some wounds reopened and I fell to my knees. As blood began to pour out, my vision started to blur.

I felt someone pick me up and placed me back on the couch, laying on my back. I didn't fight back mostly because I couldn't. I felt more lightheaded than before so I held my head and groaned.

"It doesn't matter whether you're human or not, we're still gonna help." Blue stated. I was... surprised. Humans, the very race who made used me as a living experiment, who treated me as a freak, are suddenly showing me compassion. Just... why are they doing this.

I closed my eyes to hopefully help my headache. It didn't. I reluctantly slipped into a state of unconsciousness.

Blue's POV

"Man what did she go through?" Green asked.

"I wish we knew." I sighed. Honestly I kinda felt sorry for Silver. Its obvious that she had a blood stained past that still haunts her.

"Will Silver be okay?" Red asked.

"By the looks of it she has a high fever." Vio explained. "We should talk to Zelda once we get those wounds cleaned."

"Also we should take off that thing around her neck." Shadow added. Surprisingly, he was pretty quiet until now. "Looks like it choking her slightly."

"Red and I will go fetch Zelda while you guys treat Silver." I said. Everyone nodded as I walked out the door with my little brother.

As we were walking to Hyrule Castle, Red had a worried look on his face. I'm not sure how to be an optimist but its worth a try right.

"Don't worry Red, Silver will be fine." I said.

"I know but... how can someone not trust others who are trying to be kind?" He asked.

"Well..." I began uncertainly. "Sometimes really bad stuff happens to innocent people and if so many others keep bringing them down then, those innocent people just learn to not trust others."

"Do you think that Silver will learn how to trust humans again?" Red asked. I shrugged.

"Let's hope so."
