Zara looked at the remains of the town that she had burned down. Still no sign of Silver.

"Where could she be?" The dragon hybrid thought as she fell to her knees. She was supposed to protect Silver and now she couldn't even find a sign to her whereabouts. Zara squeezed her eyes shut trying not to cry, but the tears spilled out anyway. She was all alone.

Zara stood up and looked at the buildings that had surprisingly survived her rampage. One of them was a clothes store. The dragon hybrid looked down at her blood stained dress. Reminded of the days in the lab she quickly walked to the clothes store wanting nothing more than to get rid of the red and white piece of fabric on her body.

Zara wasn't that into fashion so she simply picked out what was comfortable. She settled with a pale blue shirt with a gray jacket over it and a pair of black pants. She discarded the dress she had by burning it with her fire breath.

Suddenly Zara heard a small squeak outside. Going into a defensive stance, the black haired teen walked outside to be greeted by a small silver dragon with amethyst eyes.

"It doesn't seem like much of a threat." Zara said to herself as she kneeled down to the small creature.

"I guess you're lonely too huh?" Zara asked the dragon. The winged creature let out a small squeak in response. Sensing that the dragon girl wasn't a threat, the silver dragon mounted itself on Zara's shoulders yawning.

"Its just a baby." The girl thought. She couldn't just leave this poor guy to fend for himself. After all, she saw herself in the eyes of the small creature. Lost and without a home. Basically they were both trapped in solitude.

"Alright you can stay with me." Zara told the little dragon. "Now what should I call you?"

The silver dragon looked at Zara, curiosity flooded in its amethysts eyes.

"How about.... Miaku?" The dragon hybrid suggested. The silver dragon gave a look that said 'yeah that could work'.

Zara smiled. The one good thing that came out of this dark day was meeting this tiny dragon.

"Then its settled then, you will be now be known as Miaku." Zara stated rubbing the scales on dragon's head. Miaku let out a small noise that sounded like a purr and a squeak at the same time.

"I'll make sure that I don't lose you."
