Thanks to that weird man that kidnapped Silver, the wolf hybrid was now stuffed in a small cage where she could barely stretch her legs in a nearly pitch black room. Honestly she had enough of being treated like some kind of animal. Sure she was thirty percent wolf but did humans really have to hunt her down and try to sell her? Yes, the man that abducted Silver was going to sell her.
"Why can't I just have a normal life?" Silver asked herself. She had nothing left. Her mother is dead, she doesn't know where or who her father is, and the only person that she trusted was still somewhere in the forest miles away from her.
"Well hopefully I'm worth nothing and that human will let me go." Silver sighed. People wanted things that looked appealing to their eyes, and with a white dress that was stained in blood, long tangled silver hair, and deep cuts and bruises covering her entire body, Silver didn't look appealing. Customers probably want to run away screaming for their lives.
Silver hugged her knees and leaned back on the metal bars of her cage. She was too weak and tired to even attempt to escape.
"I guess I should try to get some sleep." The wolf hybrid thought. She closed her eyes hoping for time to pass by faster. But the silence in the room was quickly shattered when voices echoed from another room.
"So much for peace and quiet." Silver growled. She couldn't quiet make out the words that the humans were saying but they did sound pretty mad. Then it seemed like a fight broke out. The sound of swords clashing flooded Silver's furry ears.
It lasted for about five minutes until subsiding. Then the squeaking of an old door rung through out the room Silver was trapped in.
"Alright let's return everything that freak stole." A voice from afar said. It sounded like boy. The light was turned on suddenly as it blinded Silver for a few seconds.
"Geez I can't catch a break can I?" Silver thought. She noticed that she was in the far corner of the room she was in, which was filled with boxes.
"Wow looks like most of these boxes are empty." A different voice said. It sounded more child like than the first one.
"That theif just trying to trick us." A third voice stated. He sounded like he was mad. "Let's just return the goods and get home."
"No need to be in a rush Blue." A fourth voice sighed. It sounded like he was slightly annoyed but still really calm.
Suddenly Silver sneezed really loudly. Who ever was in here probably heard her.
"Bless you Shadow." Said the child like voice.
"Wasn't me." Said a fifth voice. It sounded kinda like the first one but slightly deeper.
"Someone else must be in here." The one known as Blue said.
Silver heard footsteps coming her way. She mentally sighed. There was nothing she could do. If the five boys were there to kidnap or kill her, Silver just hoped she would at least have a peaceful death.
Before she knew it, Silver met the eyes of a boy wearing a red tunic and blonde hair.
"Are you okay?" He asked the wolf hybrid.
"I'm fine." Silver said sarcastically. "Who wouldn't love being stuffed in a cramped cage for goddesses know how long?"
"Let me get you out." The red clad boy said fiddling with the lock on Silver's cage.
"By the way my name is Red."
Silver simply nodded. Just because this little boy was letting her out didn't mean she was going to trust him right away.
"Move over Red." A boy growled simply breaking the lock with his sword. He looked exactly like Red but wore a blue tunic.
"Are they twins or something?" Silver thought.
Once the cage door opened Red offered a hand to Silver. She simply sat there. There was no way that she was even going anywhere with anyone.
"Can you walk?" Blue asked. Silver simply turned away from the two boys.
"You can drop the kind acts now." Silver said. "Just do your worst so I can get it over with."
Blue and Red exchanged confused glances.
"Who said we were going to hurt you?" Blue asked.
"Do you not see how badly injured I am?" Silver answered Blue's question with another question. "Besides I probably can't move even if I wanted to."
"Then hold still." Blue said reaching into the cage and picking up Silver. Immediately the wolf hybrid struggled against the teenage boy.
"Let me go. I didn't ask for your help." Silver growled.
"Well you obviously need help." Blue countered. "You look like you went through hell."
"What's your name?" Red asked.
"Don't know." Silver lied.
Blue carried the wolf hybrid to three other boys who look practically identical to him and Red. One wore green, the second wore violet, and the third who had purple hair wore black. Silver already assumed what their names would be since it seemed they went by the color they were wearing.
"These are our brothers Green, Vio, and Shadow." Red explained.
"Well that explains why they look so much like each other." Silver thought. She then decided to speak up.
"Alright so what are you guys going to do with me?"
"We'll clean up those wounds of yours at our house and then take you back home." Vio explained. "Where do you live?"
Silver grimaced as memories of her home village being burned down flooded her mind.
"Nowhere." She finally said.
Red's eyes widened when Silver said that.
"Not having a place to call home is just not right." He thought.
"Then you can stay with us." Green offered. Silver shook her head no.
"Why not?" Shadow asked.
"Because I don't want to." Silver said. "Now tell your brother to let me go."
"You said you couldn't walk." Blue said.
"Watch me." Silver growled finally getting away from Blue's grasp. One step send a jolt of pain running up her legs, causing her to wince.
"Just come with us already." Blue sighed picking up Silver again.
"I already told you I don't want your help." Silver said.
Blue ignored the wolf hybrid's protest and walked out the room with his four brothers following close behind.
"Oh great." Silver mumbled under her breath. "I get captured by a human just to get captured by five more humans."
