Red's POV

Once we were in front of Zelda's bedroom, Blue knocked on the door.

"Come in." Zelda replied on the other side. We both entered to see our childhood friend in a white nightgown.

"Oh, Red and Blue. What brings you two here in this hour?" She asked.

"We have a friend that's sick." I explained.

"We were wondering if you could see her." Blue added.

"Of course. I'll be glad to." Zelda said. "Lead the way."

As we escorted Zelda to our house, I began to explain what we knew about Silver. Once I said that she had wolf ears and tail, that's when the princess started to worry.

"So the rumors are true then..." she sighed.

"What rumors?" Blue asked.

"I have heard that a certain group of scientists take citizens from their home towns and use a special injection to alter their bodies dramatically. Since we never found out anything about it, we passed it off as a rumor."

Me and Blue were pretty much speechless after that. What kind of heartless monsters would do such a thing? After about thirty seconds of silence, Blue began to speak.

"Is there... any way to get that stuff out of her?" He asked. Zelda sadly shook her head.

"There's no telling what kind of effect that would have. Plus whatever the put into the serum was designed to fuse with their blood. There's no going back once its in."

I really didn't want to believe that. There's gotta be some way right. I mean, what's going to happen to Silver?

"What was her condition before you left?" Zelda asked.

"She's badly injured and passed out right before we left." Blue explained. "Vio said she has a high fever."

Zelda nodded in understanding. Once we entered our house, Green was still there waiting for us. Silver was still unconscious on the couch, this time under a thick blanket and a wet towel draped over her head.

Blue began to explain to Green what Zelda told us earlier. His face immediately went grim.

"Is there a possibility that these scientist are hunting down Silver?" I asked worriedly.

"I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case." Blue replied. "Even though she'll be against, I think it would be best if we kept Silver here."

"My thoughts exactly." Zelda added standing up.

"But after what she's been through, Silver is more than likely going to fight back once she finds out. We really can't make her stay with us if she hates the human race so much." Green said. "So just how will this plan work out without bloodshed?"

"My only suggestion about that is to convince Silver we're not a threat." Zelda explained. "It won't be easy though."

"We'll figure something out once she recovers." Blue said. "Let's go Zelda. The guards will lecture us again if we don't get you back soon."

"I'll come with you." Green said. Then he looked at me. "You can handle things while we're gone right bud?"

I nodded and gave my brother a thumbs up.

"You can count on me!"

"Good. Vio should be in his room if you need anything."

With that Green, Zelda, and Blue walked out the door. Once they left I looked at Silver.

'I hope we can be good friends.'
