Luna's Death [19]

A/n: Ne minna! (hey everyone) this chapter is like a side story. It's a Flashback of how Luna actually died and how Mitchy saw everything that happened. Including Mikey who saw too. Well enjoy!

AUTHOR'S POV

The Trio all walked out of Mitchy's house. The Trio consist of: Takemichi Hanagaki, Manjiro Sano and Luna Mitsuya.

Luna, being the youngest, was the one Mitchy and Mikey looked after.

Mitchy and Mikey were both holding hands with Luna. Mikey on the left, Mitchy on the right. "We gonna get ice cream?" Mitchy said as she skipped along side her best friends.

"Sure are Mitchy-nee!" Luna said smiling, slightly squeezing Mitchy's hand. Mitchy simply smiled the smile everyone awes at.

They kept walking until they came to a road. Not a very busy road to be honest.

"Come on then Mikey-nii, Mitchy-nee." Luna said, pulling both of them towards the other side of the street. "I don't get why you get to be the one in charge.." Mikey pouted.

Luna giggled, along with Mitchy. "I'm most responsible Mik-" before she could say his name, a growl of a car engine was heard in the distance.

Mitchy nor Luna heard it. Only Mikey, since he had such good hearing.

He thought. 'it's not that close to us we'll be fine!'. But oh boy, was he dead wrong.

They were half way across the street. Then the engine was heard growling again.

This time, a little too close.

Luna released Mitchy's hand to point forward towards the ice cream shop when-

"BEEEEEEEEEEP" a loud horn was heard.

Mikey panicked and pulled Mitchy back into him.

Him landing on the floor and Mitchy landing on him. Mikey thought Luna was holding Mitchy's hand so she'd get pulled back too... but... she let go..

A loud crash was heard by Mitchy. She didn't dare open her eyes. A yelp of a young girl was heard too.

That's when Mitchy started crying in fear. She felt slightly better when she felt warm arms wrap around her in a back hug. "Come on take-chin... stand up.. let's get back to the side w-walk.." Mikey said in Mitchy's ear.

Mitchy nodded. Still refusing to open her eyes, the way Mikey spoke she was assuming that Mikey had.. well seen everything and was crying.

When they got to the side walk. Mitchy opened her eyes. To be greeted with a car, lilac hair was seen from underneath it. A large pool of blood forming under the car. Mikey and Mitchy both felt sick. Mitchy turned to Mikey to see him crying. So she did the only thing a 4 year old knows what to do. Hug.

She hugged Mikey. Tears beautifully decorating her cheeks. Mikey couldn't help but hug back. His own tears streaming down his face.

About a minute into there embrace a siren was heard. Then: another 3 sirens were heard. Mikey pulled away and turned around. "Get on my back take-chin.." Mikey said barely above a whisper. Mitchy nodded climbing onto the 6 year old boys back.

Mikey turned back to the scene to see 2 police cars. 1 ambulance. The car have been moved and Luna's body was perfectly in view. Her eyes were closed. Blood was pooling out of her mouth. She looked pure white and her hair was stained with blood.

Mikey physically threw up in his mouth. A 6 and 5 year old aren't supposed to see this.

"Hey kid! Get outta here!" a police officer called. Then he realized they had both been crying, he saw little blood stains on Mitchy's white summer dress and Mikey's t-shirt.

The officer walked over to the two. "Was that girl your friend..?" he asked, bending down to Mikey's level. Mitchy sobbed into Mikey's back.

"Y-yes sir.. w-we were with her e-earlier before.. t-that happened.." Mikey managed to say. The cop nodded and looked over at the other officer's giving them a nod. "I'm sure she'll be fine kid.. don't worry okay.." he said. Mikey felt a little better. He smiled before he picked Mitchy up off of Mikey's back.

Mikey watched him seeing him hold Mitchy in his arms and allow her to cry into his shoulder. "Come with me kid.. we're gonna take you to the station and fix you up. Alright? I'll call ya parents." he said. Placing a hand on Mikey's back. "Follow me." he said leading Mikey to his car.

Mikey got in the back seat. And he put Mitchy in beside him. Mitchy was still crying and had her hands over her face.

Mikey moved closer to Mitchy and hugged her. Luckily for him, she hugged him back. Making him feel better than he was feeling now.. Mitchy slowly started drifting to sleep in Mikey's arms and Mikey slowly found himself falling asleep too.

He heard the engine start and the guy pulled off.

Mikey was so close to falling asleep he could taste it. That was until. He heard the cops radio go off.

"The girl who got hit by the car, has been recognized as dead."

A/n: Finally finished it. So this is just like a side story. Do you guys want more? Like memories of Mitchy and the guys? Or the guys and there parents? Tell me I wanna know!
