At first, when you'd left the Butterfly Estate, you were bursting with energy and determination—you felt as if you could take on the world.

But.. all of that energy quickly dissipated as you soon realized Yue had no idea where the fuck she was going.

You'd slowed down to a walk to conserve your breath, dragging an exasperated hand down your face. "Ugh.. Yue, how much longer until we get thereee?" You whined.

"FOLLOW ME!! FOLLOW!! CAW!!"

You'd heard that sentence one too many times in the last few hours. And you had enough.

"YUE!!" You shouted, pulling at your hair. "WE SHOULD'VE GOTTEN THERE BY NOW!! WHERE THE HELL EVEN ARE WE?!"

At a loss, you scanned your surroundings. You were currently hiking along a flat, dirt path, with a wide, open plain around you for as far as the eye could see.

Yue perched herself upon the opposite shoulder of Hoshi, dejectedly looking away from you, "I.. don't know.. caw.."

'Of fucking course.'

"What do you mean, you don't KNOW?!" You shouted far too loud for comfort, your eyes practically bulging out of their sockets.

Sparing a glance with your chipmunk companion on your other shoulder, you then looked up at the sky with a huff. "You have got to be fucking kidding me!!"

Sighing, you shifted your gaze down at your feet as you continued to walk. While you did so, you kicked a nearby pebble.

"Stupid Uzui," You grumbled pettily. "And... stupid everyone for leaving me behind like I was a sack of shit. Maybe if they weren't being such JERKS..!" You began to yell once more, out of pure frustration, "..I WOULDN'T BE IN THIS GODDAMN SITUATIONNN!!"

Reaching into your haori pocket, you retrieved a single onigiri Kanao had managed to smuggle for you. Releasing yet another grumble, you took a big bite.

With your mouth full of food, you continued to complain.

"Stupid blood. Stupid fictional world. Stupid Hashiras. Stupid—"

You paused for a split second, almost hesitant to even mutter his name. Although, you were just trying to release just a sliver of your frustration.

"—(B/N)."

Sparing an attentive glance to the sky once more, you made a mental note of the moon's position in the atmosphere; straight above—so.. almost midnight, you assumed.

Taking yet another bite of your singular source of food, you puffed your cheeks out—your frustration unwavering. "Stupid. This is so fucking stupid. Stupid Muzan. Stupid Akari. Stupid everyone."

Minutes after you finished your onigiri, your stomach released another cry of hunger—it rumbled loudly, still not satisfied enough.

You groaned, rolling your eyes.

"Of course. I'm still hungry."

You hugged yourself to challenge the cold gust of wind that blew onto you—sending your hair and haori flying behind you. Your teeth involuntarily chattered as Yue and Hoshi curled up closer into the crooks of your neck.
