''I'm so sorry,'' I said dipping my head down. God I felt so weak and just dumb because I couldn't help but to worry. That I didn't have more faith in my mate, plus the fact that he was the king of this camp.

Anilith rubbed his hand on the side of my face. He was so gentle as he moved closer to where there was hardly any space between us. ''Don't say you're sorry Moriah.'' I slowly looked up confused. ''If it hadn't been for Rachel, you would have stayed and possibly gotten hurt. It takes a very brave person to stay when two hybrids are fighting one another. Even for another hybrid to stay is very unlikely. But if you had stayed and gotten hurt.... I would have never forgiven myself, plus Raquel would be laying dead. So really it was good for Rachel to bring you here. To her home to wait for me to calm down.'' He brought his lips to mine.

''I'm grateful to have you. Don't ever doubt yourself,'' he breathed as he pulled back. I smiled and nodded.

Once we both had settled down, Rachel decided to make lunch. Anilith told me that Rachel was the only one besides me to be of one species. That Rachel was a witch that would make spells and protection type potions for the witch and wizard hybrids here. He also told me that from time to time she makes a blocking serum for him because twice a year he loses control of himself. That the moon triggers something in him that he becomes a wild beast but since Rachel made that serum he's been doing better.

His eyes widened when he was done. I hadn't said anything. I just allowed him to speak. Honestly I think he forgot that he was talking to me until he mentioned him becoming a wild beast. That he was afraid that he'd scare me. But surprisingly I wasn't afraid to hear that. I knew certain hybrids had triggers that made them lose control. The smallest of things could set them off but others just a look could be their undoing.

''You're brave to let me know,'' I said taking his hand in mine.

''I just want to be honest with you.'' Anilith breathed a breath of relief. We stood to get ready to leave. It was time and we both thanked Rachel for letting us stay for the last few hours. She of course was more than happy and told us to come by any time if we needed to.

Anilith and I had a good afternoon. Many other hybrids came up to meet me. They were really loving and understanding. I got to meet Yuma and this time his mother as well. She was really beautiful and she really treated me like a daughter. Anilith was now Azaix and was talking to Thazon. He had joined when Azaix had motioned for him to come over. I wasn't sure what they were talking about, I only caught Azaix looking over at me from time to time. I just hung out with the small group that was by me laughing and having a great time. Something I really needed.

When the meeting was over I was kind of bummed. Azaix reassured me that we can meet with them again. That lifted my spirits. We walked to the main house to see that they were working to repair what damage had been done. Still not enough to be able to go upstairs or being able to cook anything. Azaix was able to grabbed a bag of clothes before going back to the treehouse.

Walking through the door I sat down at the table. Azaix wanted to take a shower before cooking us a dinner that as he said would make me horny because I'd be so attracted to him. I laughed as he left the room. Yeah well see won't we.

I walked over to the refrigerator to see what all was in it. It was full of stuff. The top had sparkling waters, sodas, tea and milk. The next two shelves had an arranged assortment of lunch meats, cheeses, salad mixes, yogurts of all flavors and so much more. The last two shelves had nothing but meats. I mean whole chickens, whole shrimps and lobsters, to even different cuts of steaks.

''See anything you want?''

A smirk formed on my face as I turned, but my face turned red when I saw that he was standing there naked. He had a towel. But he wasn't using it to cover himself. No it was just big enough to be able to dry his hair. My jaw kind of hung open as I closed the door to the refrigerator.
