Myths and Legends

Chapter One

I wasn't sure if anything came out of my mouth when I saw the pair of bare feet that stood in front of my cell. Thanks to the venom I couldn't move any part of my body as they disappeared from my view. I could only hope that they either left or was about to kill me. My heart was like a drum despite all the blood I have lost, but I couldn't keep up. My eyes drew heavy and I blackout out before I could see or feel anything else.

Was I dead? Or was I in the process of dying? I wasn't sure. I just knew I wasn't in pain anymore and I felt light and at peace. Maybe this was the in between life and death.

Surprisingly when I opened my eyes I gasped. I wasn't dead and I wasn't in the castle dungeon anymore. I was laying on a huge bed, my wounds had been doctored and wrapped. There was something on the table but I could get my legs to move so I couldn't see what it was. Which was fine. 

''Ah I see you're awake.'' I turned to see a tall guy standing in the doorway. He didn't have a shirt on so I could see all the scars that riddled his chest and abs. He looked hot, but I couldn't keep my eyes on him. The shock was starting to really hit me now.

My heart pounded in my head hurting my ears. My body was shaking as I wrapped my arms around myself. ''Pl- please don't hurt m- me.'' Tears streaming down my face.

Through my tears I saw the guy had shifted. I lost sight of him for a second before I felt arms wrap around me and held me close to his chest. He was warm ad comforting. I was just sitting there shocked. I couldn't believe that his guy, this stranger was comforting me even though we didn't know each other.

''I would never hurt you,'' the guy said rubbing my back. It felt so good that I just melted into his hold and fell back to sleep.

--A Looping Nightmare--

I wasn't sure where I was. I knew it was the dreamworld, but didn't know where it was taking place. Darkness was formed all around me and there was a snarling like sounded deep within it. 

''He-hello,'' I called out to see if someone was there. The sound didn't let up. It actually grew louder and moved closer and closer to where I was.

That's when I saw it. Two glowing red eyes in the darkness were looking right at me. My heart started pounding as I stood from my crouched form. No.... No it couldn't be. It couldn't be master Garrett. I..... Was I dreaming of being saved? The guy I saw, was that a just a dream to make me think that I was safe so the master could kill me slowly.

I tried to step back but the darkness didn't allow me to leave where the area I was standing. The darkness was working with the master as he stepped closer and fully into view. I wanted to plead for my life. To beg him not to kill me but that didn't happen. He was on me in a blink of an eye and was choking me.

-You're going to regret leaving me you little bitch,- the master said squeezing my throat harder to the point I was seeing stars forming. His eyes were filled with blood lust and anger. My vision went black --------

--End Of Nightmare--

My vision went black and I jolted awake and straight into the arms of someone that had been sitting next to me. Wrapping their arms around me they held me close to them even though I was trying to fight against their holding. It didn't faze them in the slightest.

''No. No. No,'' I yelled against the guys chest. It might have been a nightmare of my master Garrett but it felt real. My throat hurt as I pounded my fist against the firm chest.

''Sshhhh. Sshhhh.''

Slowly I looked up to the guy that was holding me. His glowing rainbow looking eyes looking down at me. What was he? He didn't look like any creature I've seen. Then in that moment a switch flipped in my brain and my eyes widened..... He's a hybrid.
