Chapter Six

''I'll never abandoned you, my mate,'' King Anilith said whispering in my ear. He then kissed the top of my head. ''I promise. You never have to worry about me ever doing that to you.''

That lifted the heavy weight off my shoulders. I was really glad that I didn't have to worry about that now.

After that King Anilith walked me around the waterfall and many other places before I was becoming to tired to walk and he had to carry me back to the house. Thazon was waiting at the dinning room table waiting for us. He immediately stood and walked over to the king's side. The way that he looked at me and checked my vitals to make sure I was alright. Which surprisingly I was. I wasn't sure if I would be or not.

Once that was over and Thazon left, King Anilith had calmed down and now Azaix was back. He sat me down at the table, well he sat down and had me sitting on his lap.

''What would you like to do Moriah?'' King Azaix asked running his fingers down my arm and back up.

There wasn't much I wanted to do now that I was in the house. I mean seeing the waterfall and all the other beautiful sites were amazing and absolutely breathtaking, but I was tired and honestly I just really wanted to take a shower and go back to sleep now.

''You can do that, my love,'' King Azaix said standing with me. I blushed hearing him call me, my love. It made me feel special. He walked down to his room and straight to the bathroom where he put me down so he could turn the shower on.

''So I have mostly manly type products.'' Slowly he turned to look back at me. He held his hand out to test the warmth. King Azaix pulled it back only after a moment of feeling it. ''I hope that's okay? I can go up to the other bathroom if you'd rather have the other shampoo and conditioner.''

I peeked around his form to see all that he was talking about. There was a bar of black and green soap. In the left side of the large shower was his razor and shaving gel. The last thing I noticed was a matching set of mint green colored shampoo and conditioner. A smile formed on my face as I was able to read the label on the shampoo. Kiwi mint. Oh yes that was 'So' manly I thought.

''Hey,'' King Azaix said with a chuckle.

''I like your choice on it,'' I said lifting myself from the counter I was sitting on. King Azaix eyed me in case I needed help, but didn't move to catch me. Giving me a little freedom to walk around on my own after carrying me everywhere.

''I'd do it everyday for you.''

I blushed. ''Thank you so much King Azaix.'' I had my back to him as I slipped off my clothes.

''Please call me Azaix or Anilith.'' It sounded weird to hear both sides trying to voice the same thing. I smiled at him and nodded. He kissed the top of my head before stepping out and closed the door behind him.

In a way I didn't want him to leave. In so many ways I wanted him to stay so that we could just talk with one another. But on the other hand. I was ashamed of the way my body looked. Being so skinny with my ribs were showing. I..... I hated for him to see me like that. So it was like a war playing out in my heart.

Sitting on the floor of the shower I just let the water run down my head and the rest of body. I tucked my knees up to my chest as I sat there crying. I heard the door click open and Azaix walked in. He walked into the shower, sat down behind me and wrapped his arms around me.

''You have your clothes on,'' I said lifting my head up to wipe the water off my face. I heard him growl and pull me closer to him.

''I don't care if they get wet!'' My eyes widened as his arms again wrapped tighter around me. ''You need me. You need your mate and that's me. I'm more than willing to comfort you wherever you are.''
