Queen Catherine refused to return to court or at-least that is what Charles tells Elena.
"After all this business with the king is done,I have something to ask you"
Charles declared
"Really"
"Mhm"
"Tell me!"
"No,my dearest you will have to wait"
"Must I?"
Elena responded slyly
"I'm afraid so,lovely"
Charles smirked back
They both laughed as they strolled through the rose gardens

"Ugh,I'm so mad at him!"
Anne yelled storming into Elena's room
"Who?"
"The king!"
"Aw and here I was thinking you loved him"
"Not funny Lena"
"Have a lovers spat?"
"Yes! He argued with the queen even though I told him that if he did that,she was sure to have the upper hand!"
"Anne what's important is to remain calm and keep your cards close to your chest and do not give the King a reason to not favour you,you must be his ever loyal servant or at least seem to be like that"

"Sister!"
Elena sighed
"Yes Anne"
"Now now sister don't act like I only bring you bad news,the kings sister,Margret is dead!!"
Anne said in joy
"And that is something to celebrate?"Elena asked
"We'll yeeeeeess,she hated us,now she can do us no harm"
"The king loved his sister but not hold her in high regard,she could not have done us any harm ether way"
Elena explained
"Well still,now we have one less problem"
Anne giggled
"I am very happy for you sister"
Elena smiled slightly and patted her sisters knee

Later that day Elena was in the library looking for books on animals when someone grabbed her waist from behind.
She could've sworn her heart jumped out of her chest but immediately calmed down once seeing charms
He was bursting with laughter as she just smacked his chest with the book she was holding.
"You are the worst"
"And yet I'm still your favourite person"
"You most certainly are not!"
"I'm not?"
"No!"
"Ah you've wounded me"
He expressed sarcastically while putting a hand to his chest
"Shut up-"
She laughed
"-can you help my reach the top shelf"
"Of course bookworm"
Once he grabbed the book though,he kept it above his head unable for her to reach it
"Seriously Charles"
Elena complained as she reached for it
"Ah ah ah"
Charles smirked as he pointed to his own cheek
She giggled and pecked his check
"Hmmm again,with a little more feel"
She kissed his cheek again and a blush covered her cheeks.
"Your the worst"
She said again walking past him
He then chased after her as she ran.
Both of them chasing each other like children throughout the library.
