It was safe to say Henry was unhappy,
with the marriage, with Cromwell, Elena believed he was even unhappy with himself at times,

Henry's excuse this time was that he believed that Anne was still in contract with the duke of Lorraine's son,
Therefore his "conscience" would not allow him to bed another man's wife

Is it what Elena thought, she knew Henry and she knew when he didn't want to do something then he would come up with every excuse imaginable to not do it,

He said he marriage to Catherine and as null and void due to her being a widow of his brother

He accused Anne of being a whore, adulterer and a witch

And now he wanted rid of the new Anne, and if Elena were a betting women, she'd bet that he'd get his way, eventually,

Scene 1 starts here
Elena POV

Anne has just finished playing a melody on the piano,

God, being back in those chambers was weird, I believed the last time I was there was when my sister, Anne was queen.

I clapped at the music
"Your very good at that" I gave her a smile, for all my plotting and plans with Charles and Edward, I did truly feel bad for her,

She is being used at a pawn in a greater game of which she had no idea what was going on,

"Why, thank you for grace, though I must say, I would still like for you to teach me cards, if you would like it" she told me with a smile

I gave her a soft smile back "of course, with my help you'll be winning everyone's money"
We laughed

"Princess Mary, your majesty"

My smile dropped and my laughter died, I hadn't spoken to Mary, not ever I believe, though I loved my family there was always a part of my who felt bad for the small girl who found herself caught in the crossfire of a political war and scandal

Mary walked in a gave a deep curtsey to Anne
"We will talk later on and you will teach me then, ya?" Anne asked me, still with that smile on her face

"Of course" I gave a curtesy to Anne "Your majesty" then turned and gave one to Mary "Princess"

Mary mainly kept a stone face but gave me a slight nod of the head "your grace"

At least we could be civil
I thought as I left the queens chambers,

It was later that day Charles approached me whilst are children were playing in-font of us in our chambers, me in a chair, reading, whilst Charles just walked in.
Orion was handing Estella toy wooden horses whilst Lyra chose to stay near me, playing by my feet, cling to my skirts, resting her head on my leg and playing with a toy dolly in her hand.

He kissed me softly "Bookworm" he said softly as he sat down in the chair next to me after giving Lyra a kiss on the head

But something was off, I could tell

"What troubles you, love? Have the night terrors come back?" I put the book and gave Charles my full attention

"The king is bored and though I am happy that he is taking it out on Cromwell, I need to calm he down a tad so he doesn't take it out on all of us"

I nodded
"Fair enough, what have you got in mind?"

"I was thinking...maybe a women, a pretty one, could make the king... uhm...or help him-"

I cut him off
"You want to get the king a whore" I said with a slight laughed

Charles groaned, "uh, yes, though I'm not sure where to find one"
