The act of succession

In hastings,hastings house was beautiful,by the ocean and it was beautiful big cottage style house.
And in Suffolk Charles's estate was in the middle of the country surrounded by purple tulips,Elena's favourite
The duke and duchess was split their time in between,suffolk,Hastings and court.

And while they were away Charles and Elena Brandon looked after the towns as well as having their own fun,wether it be a hike in the forest or a walk on the beach or even an adventure in the bedroom.

Elizabeth had been baptised 3 days after her birth with Elena being her godmother and though Anne loved her daughter,she couldn't help but feel let down or like she let Henry down.
Yes,she was queen and yes,she was the kings wife and yes,she had given him a child.but not a son.
Her work was not done and until it was,until then,everything was on the line.

A bill was put before parliament and it was required that everyone had to sign.
The bill stated that the line of succession would only be in Anne and Henry's children not to mention that people would have to except the new religion.
As a part of the queen's family Elena had already signed.
She had not spoken to her father or brother since marrying Charles.
She knew they didn't agree and quite frankly she didn't care what they thought,she would just rather not argue about it

"No.they are too sour and they make my eyes water"

Henry and Anne came over

"Elena is having a minor obsession with red apples at the moment"

Anne smiled and whispered to Henry
"That's a sign of pregnancy"
She looked back to a still pouting Elena and grabbed her hands talking her away while laughing
"Come on sister,let's get you some red apples"

Anne was pregnant again

The physician told Elena

She started laughing and smiling,and Anne did the same,hugging her sister.
"And then about it Lena,our children will be mere months apart in age,my son and your child will be the best if friends and cousins"

Charles burst into the room
"-I was told that you were with the physician,are you sick?"
Charles sat down on the bed

"No husband,I am not sick,I am with child"

"We're going to be parents,bookworm"

Henry appeared in the threshold of the room
