|The Next Morning|

Nellie was licking my face, I laughed and yelled. "Nellie!" She barked at me, and wagged her tail. "You're so cute, aren't you" I scratched behind her ears as we both sat on the front step.

"Boof?" I looked up, and Nellie ran, full speed, to Copper. "Hey!" Copper smiled at me. "Hey!" I smiled back, his eyes went wide and he walked up to me. He sat down next to me, and stared at me. I looked at him nervous. 

"What the hell happened..?" He asked me quietly. I ran my finger's through my hair, and kept my hand on top of my head while I said. 

"Oh.. yeah-- erm.." I looked away, and said. "I sort of.. got into a fight with Harry" I muttered. His eyes went wide for a moment, then looked at me with concern and anger.

"When you left and I got back to the group, he started saying a lot of shitty things about you. And I lost it.. and I.. punched him" Copper grabbed my hand, and squeezed it.

"Oh, Nicholas.." He whispered. "But, like, I immediately regretted it and stopped.  And that's when he landed a punch on me" I looked down at our hands, and added. 

"I guess he managed to hit me pretty hard" I let out an airy laugh. Copper wrapped his arms around my neck, and hugged me tightly. My eyes went wide, and I looked at him confused. I placed one of my hands on his arm. 

His knee's were also, like, on top of mine. But, we don't talk about that.

"You big-- fuckin' Idiot. Why are you so great...?" Copper asked me, and I looked at him confused. I wrapped my arms around his back. He pulled his head back, and looked into my eyes. 

He asked me. "Why didn't you tell me last night?" He glared at me, jokingly. I placed my head on his shoulder, and I felt him tense up a bit. Than he relaxed. 

"I was embarrassed.. It was stupid, sinking to his level" I muttered into Copper's shoulder. 

"Well, actually" Copper started, and I sat back up. He pressed his shoulder against mine, and he said. 

"As much as I hate seeing you get hurt--" He smirked. "Greene really deserved a proper punch in the face" Copper nodded with a smile on his face. I laughed loudly, and said. 

"You're such a Slytherin!" Copper rolled his eyes, and said. "And you're 100% a Gryffindor" I laughed again, and asked. 

"How are you even dating?" Copper smirked at me, and ran his finger's through his black hair. "Because I'm hot, AND I turned a straight boy" I jokingly glared at him. "That may be true but TOO SOON!" Copper loudly laughed, and smiled at me. 

Oh, how I love his smile.

"Now, can you tell me where we're going?" I asked Nicholas, as he was holding Nellie's leash. "Nope! Still a surprise!" He smiled at me, and I loudly groaned. 

He laughed at me, and shook his head.
