I had finished my Chemistry Exam, and Copper texted me right away. Asking me how the Exam went, I told him the truth. 

'Not too bad... but not great. Are you on study leave? Can you come around mine? I badly needs hugs '

I smiled as I saw his messages pop up. 'I can't, I'm at a biology revision session. I also need hugs please ' I gently laughed, and sent 'Sneak out and come home with me '

I knew Copper was gonna send me a snarky remark, and I was right-

'Soz I love energy flow and plant growth more than you ' I smirked, and sent a flirty text. 

'I have some ideas for things we could do involving energy flow ' I laughed, when I saw him message back. 

'djkbgs;uitdh;sgbja! STOP! YOU DORK! VRINGY DORK! ' I laughed, and shook my head. 

"Nick!" Someone said, I turned around and it was my old 'friends'. My smile dropped, and I glared at them. I started to walk away, and I said. 

"I have nothing to say to you" Sai stepped up, and said. "We know, mate. And you don't have to. Can you just hear us out" I stopped walking, and I felt sad.. I turned around and walked a few steps closer to them.

"Fine, what?" I asked them. Christian said "We're sorry. We should have should have stopped it and told Harry to fuck off" Otis nodded, and added. 

"Not even just at the cinema-- we should have done that ages ago" Sai added on "And I know we should have been better when Harry was picking on Copper and Charlie. But we can promise to be better friends from now on.. Seriously" I looked at them all, with sadness and anger.

Christian said. "And we really like Copper! He's a really nice guy and I don't want him to think we're all like Harry" Otis added. "We're on your side, Nick. We're your friends, if you still want us to be"

I looked down at my feet, and I clung onto the strap of my bookbag. Memories of Otis, Sai, Christian and I flooded into my head. I rubbed the back of my neck, and said to them. 

"Thanks.. for saying that. I know you're not like Harry. And I'm glad you finally wanna ditch him. So..." I looked up at them. "Uhm- Apology accepted?" They all walked up to me, and patted my back with a smile.

We walked together, and Sai asked me. "Has Harry been pestering either of you since that weekend?" I thought for a moment, and said. 

"No, not really. We haven't seen him because of exams and study leave to be honest" I said with a weak smile. Christian said. 

"I seriously don't blame you for punching him. I know you and Copper are really good mates" Memories of Copper and I kisses came flooding into my mind. Him sitting on my lap... straddling- I MEAN! UHM- NO- THAT SOUNDS WRONG!

I closed my eyes tightly, and shook my head. I rubbed the back of my neck again. "Uh.. yeah.. I... we" I coughed. "Yeah.." I started to walk faster, and I waved goodbye to them.

"Uh, anyways, I've got to catch my bus! See you guys at Rugby" I grabbed my phone, and texted Copper. 

'You could come for dinner tonight?? ' It took a few moments, but he texted back. 

'I can't, I've really gotta revise for this biology exam ' I looked at my phone sadly. 

'Noooo. Also how have we managed to go out for this long and you still haven't come around mine for dinner? ' I stared at my phone, so sadly. Honestly, I wish we could. 

'hahahah idk ' I placed my phone in my pocket.
