|Take's Place Between Chapter 2:12 & 2:13| 

AFTER THE EASTER HOLDAY

"I'm like.. 85% sure Nicholas likes me back" I said to my friend Aled. 

"We hung out almost everyday over the Easter Holiday and we kind of had these... moments" I dreamily sighed. "Like when we went to the arcade and went into the photo-booth"

Nicholas and I were in the Arcade, and he walked into the photo booth. I looked at him confused. 

"Are you sire we're both going to fit in there? You're so tall!" I looked at him a little worried. "Come on, it'll be funny!" Nicholas said with a gently laugh at the end. 

I walked in, and I held onto his shoulder as I walked in. "We're definitely not going to fit" I chuckled nervously. "We'll be fine!" Nicholas smiled. "Just-Just sit on my leg" He placed me in the middle of his legs. 

My eyes went wide, and I shook my head. "No-No no- I'm too heavy!" Nicholas laughed. He placed me on his leg, and I chuckled. "Okay... This is.. cozy" He looked into my bright blue eyes.  

My feet were off the ground, and we took a bunch of photos.

"And then on another day" I started, "Nick came round to help me and my brother for my sister's birthday cake" I said to Aled.

Oliver and I were decorating the cake, and Nicholas was catching us with a smile. "Not to much!" I said with a gently laugh to my 6 year old brother. 

I grabbed some flour, and I smirked at Nicholas. Nicholas looked at me confused, and I blew the flour at Nicholas. His eyes went wide, and he muttered. 

"You little..." My eyes went wide. He grabbed a HAND full of flour and threw it at me. I yelled, and Nicholas picked me up and I yelled "No! NO!" I glared at him, trying to keep a straight face. 

"You can't win everything by picking me up!" I yelled, and Nicholas chuckled. "I can though!"

"And then there was this one evening we took his dog for a walk" I smiled at Aled.

I was shivering, I didn't bring a coat with me, which was very stupid of me. "Th-The sky's s-so pretty!" I hugged myself, as I looked at the sunset. I felt a warm coat be wrapped around my body. My eyes went wide, and I looked at Nicholas. 

"Aren't you gonna get cold?" I asked him, and he shook his head. "I'll be fine" He smiled at me. I leaned in a bit, and said. "Oh.." He leaned in as well.

We got super close, till he yelled in my face. "YOU HAVE A BUG IN YOUR HAIR!" My eyes went wide.

-Back in the present-

"WE NEARLY KISSED!" I yelled at Aled. He backed his face up a bit, so he didn't have to be so close to my loudness. 

"Or like-- I don't know I guess he might have been trying to get a big out of my hair but I don't know the sunset was so romantic. I was so CONFUSED!" I ran my finger's through my hair, and sighed loudly.

I placed my hands on my face, so cover it all, as I muttered into my hands. "I really like him!" I looked at my friend, who looks right back at me. 

"Do you think anything's gonna happen?" I whispered. Aled thought for a moment, and said with a smile. "Yep!" I smiled at my friend.
