"Just.. Hurry it up, okay? I need to lock up soon" Ms. S said. "Y-Yes Miss" Nicholas stuttered, and we both rubbed the back of our necks. She left the room, I looked up at my boyfriend and asked. 

"Fuck--" Nicholas hugged me, and laughed loudly. "That was bound to happen some point" Nicholas walked, while holding my hand. "Yep" I nodded, and sighed.

"Nick! Can I see you in my office please?" Nicholas and I both turned to the voice.

I walked into the office, and muttered "Yes?" Mrs. Singh was leaned up against her chair, and said. "Take a seat" I looked at her nervously. 

 I sat down, and she smiled at me. "You're the new Rugby captain, starting September" My eyes went wide, and I yelled. "What!? Am I!?" I smiled. She nodded, with a smile.

"You're the heart and center of this team, Nick. You have the talent to pursue Rugby beyond school, if you want to be" I smiled, and my eyes sparkled. 

"Wow.. thank you! Wow" I smiled widely. Mrs. Singh then said..

"I'd uhm.. I'd also recommended finding somewhere a little more discreet to make out with your boyfriend" My face went red, and my eyes went wide.  

"I'm glad Copper's settled into the team. I've been keeping an eye on him. I know he's been a target of pretty severe bulling in the past" She sighed, and looked down. 

"If I hear you've done anything to hurt him, we'll be having a few words, all right?" She leaned onto her hands, and stared at me. "Y-Yeah! I m-mean-- I wouldn't--" I stuttered, and my face was redder.

"And If any of the other boys do or say anything spiteful to you or Copper, you come straight to me, okay? I'll sort them out" I weakly smiled at her.

"Yeah" I nodded, "Yeah, I will" She smiled up at me. She looked down at the photo on her desk, smiled at it, then said. 

"I met my wife playing university sport in the early noughties" She continued, and my eyes sparkled at the photo of her and her wife. 

"People gave us a lot of shit" She muttered. "Things are a little better now, but.. you never know" She shook her head. I looked at her sadly, but she quickly added. 

"Well! If you want to chat about anything, you know where to find me" She smirked, "Captain Nelson" I smiled at her. "Thanks miss" I got up, and Mrs. Singh said. 

"Have a great summer holiday!" I turned to her, and said. "You too, miss!" I closed the door, and sighed.
