DAY 204, THURSDAY, APRIL
H: You can finally go home I see?
R: Yeah, finally.
H: You deserve it. I saw you running around all day.
R: It was a little hectic.
H: Yeah.
R: You, uh... you're on a break?
H: I still have three and a half minutes left.
R: And don't you dare sit any longer than that!
H: I once got back to the manager, what, not longer than two minutes after the scheduled fifteen minutes. They were pissed.
R: And why wouldn't they be? God...
H: I'm glad I found them in the store.
R: Why?
H: So they had to be nice to me in front of the customers.
R: Oh, right.
H: Yeah. Since then I've been keeping a close eye on the clock during my breaks.
R: Good, good.
H: Do you have any plans for the weekend?
R: The weekend?
H: I know we still have tomorrow to get through, but then... Saturday! Do you need to work?
R: Yeah, only Saturday morning.
H: You can't even sleep in?
R: Nope. On Sunday I can.
H: Well, that's still something. I'm free for once this weekend.
R: Nice. Do you go to school?
H: I'm in my last year.
R: Exams are coming up then?
H: Yeah, I've been procrastinating studying for them. One of these days I should really get started, though.
R: I know the feeling.
H: Besides work, do you have any other plans?
R: Maybe.
H: Maybe?
R: Yeah. K invited me to a hangout but I'm not sure I want to come.
H: Why not?
R: Me and K haven't really been seeing eye to eye lately. It's frustrating.
H: I can imagine.
R: Anyway, they said there'll be more people than just them. But still... I don't know.
H: Hmm.
R: I don't know if I want to hang out with a group yet. I just don't feel... good.
H: In general? Or about something in particular?
R: In general I guess. I don't know. It's hard to explain.
H: You don't need to explain. And it's okay if you don't know how to put feelings into words. It's okay.
R: Thanks. Are you coming?
H: To the hangout?
R: Yeah.
H: I haven't been invited.
R: Oh. I figured you'd have been. I'm sorry.
H: That's okay. I was invited a previous time but I declined.
R: Maybe they assume you wouldn't want to come now either.
H: Probably.
R: I can ask K to invite you if you want.
