DAY 440, TUESDAY, DECEMBER

H: No, thank you.

S: Alright. You, K?

K: Yes, please. You really don't want some wine?

H: No, I'm good. It's a Tuesday evening.

S: And we're at the public park.

K: We're not really caring about image right now.

S: Anyway, how was work?

H: It was fine.

K: Sure, when you're not behind the register. It was like people today thought 'you know what would be fun? Returning all the stuff I've ever bought'.

S: No, really?

K: Yeah, there were three in a row at one point.

H: Well, if it makes you feel any better, because of the new shelf arrangement, everyone was lost looking for the toothpaste.

S: They changed that?

K: They did. Yesterday evening. I was there.

H: When did you get home?

K: Later than I'd like.

S: I can't imagine the manager and assistant manager and such people enjoying this. Enjoying the late hours.

K: Or even enjoying the type of work, to be honest.

H: They must have chosen this path for a reason.

K: What reason?

H: Don't ask me. I wouldn't have done that.

S: When I picture myself in five years, I'm long gone.

K: Where are you then?

S: Mayne I'll be in a foreign country. Married to a millionaire and living in a giant countryside house.

H: That sounds pretty nice.

K: You wouldn't want to live in a penthouse or something? Int he middle of a big city?

S: No, I'd like some peace and quiet around me.

H: Do you see yourself in a penthouse in five years?

K: Would be nice. But, realistically, that's not happening. Maybe when I'm in my thirties.

H: What would you do with such a big house?

S: Parties every night, right K?

K: You know me so well.

S: I would simply enjoy all the space. Wouldn't you want a big house?

H: A larger house than the house I live in now would be okay. But I don't think I want an entire mansion for my own.

S: Why not?

H: What do I do with all the space?

K: You wouldn't want to live together with someone?

S: Or with house mates. Doesn't have to be romantic.

H: If they're good friends, sure. But I wouldn't want to live with anyone I currently know.

K: Not even with me?

S: Of course not with you. But not even with me?

H: Maybe if I've gotten to know you better. And longer. Perhaps. We're talking about five years in the future anyway.

S: Exactly. Who knows what happens during that time.

K: You're not a big fan of massive parties, are you?
