Hi!
This is the second novel I've written! It started out as a writing-dialogue-exercise and eventually turned into this. This means every single scene only consists of people talking. That's all, nothing more nothing less.
This also means it's light on plot. There's stuff happening, though. There's a few events that happen over the course of multiple chapters. There's just no major red line connecting everything together.
That being said, I am proud of it. Dialogue is something I still struggle with, especially creating 'full' conversations (instead of only saying what needs to be said to advance the plot). This was a way for me to only focus on the conversation, and I think I didn't do a bad job :)
When the time comes, I might enter it in the Wattys under the YA genre. That is, if it has enough words. The story is just over 50.000 (which is the minimum if I remember correctly). We'll see when the time comes if I'm able to do so.
Some practical information: two to three scenes per chapter, about 50.000 words in total, complete work of fiction (so similarities to other things are coincidental), I made the cover myself with Canva (which took longer than I would like to admit).
Don't be shy to leave comments. Thank you very much for the interest and I hope you enjoy <3

The picture above I made with Canva (with one person in the middle edited out lol)
