Chapter 5

It was the next morning after seeing this Andy in the park and I was woken up by mick placing a cup of tea on the night stand. He looks at me and smiles at me and sits on the bed,
"Morning" I said he a morning voice I sounding a bit croaky
"Morning, so I was thinking most the night about everything"
"And" I reply waiting for him to carry on with what he was going to say
"And we have two options firstly we could go to the police" I look at him with terror in my eyes
"What's the second option?" I asked
"We wait and see if this Andy or shane shows up so I can have a little word with them" mick sat there looking ahead leaning his arms on his knees
"Elle can I ask why you never went to the police when it all happened"
"I dunno didn't think they would believe me I guess. wanted to pretend it never happened. lots of reasons. I was hoping the past would stay in the past when I came back"
"So what we going to do" mick asked me standing up. I climbed outta bed taking a sip of my tea.
"I dunno I guess it be better for now to leave it. we really don't know anything about where they are or this Andy. we don't even no if shane is local."
"Ok if your sure. but I want you to promise me that anything happens you tell me ok."

It's been 3 days since all that happened and nothing as happened, well stuffs happened but not involving Andy or shane, but Jonny.
Jonny has come out as being gay, not that it bothers me but Linda has not taken the news well. Linda has been at the pub on and off for the last 3 days due to Nancy drama, mick has needed reinforcements with all the drama, especially with us being on tenter hooks waiting for someone to show up.

It was a Friday night and I was upstairs in the kitchen I was hoping for a night off, with me working a lot this week due to Linda being here this week I haven't exactly had much of a break as it's been me Tina and Shirley behind the bar with the odd help from Nancy and Jonny and Mick.

I'm in the kitchen doing the washing up, not much of a break, when nancy comes up,
"Dad said he really could do with your help, as Shirley's disappeared and Jonny his gone to whitneys."
"Okay. tell him I will be down in a sec. I just gotta sort myself out" I huffed to her, I was kinda pissed of if I'm honest. I had spent the last hour and a half tidying up everyones mess and was hoping for a bath. I go in the bedroom and chuck on my shoes and put a clean top on I brushed my hair and touch up my lip gloss and head downstairs. I looked around and it was pretty busy in hear tonight.
I head over to a blond hair lady and serve her, I then see Sharon
"Hi hunni what can I get you" I smile "just a bottle of white, fancy a quite night in as Phills out tonight"
i grab her a bottle and hand it to her as she gives me the money
"So much for my quite night" I sighed to her
"It's always the way when you own a pub" she chuckles while leaving and saying night

I carry on serving and mick comes over and gives me a kiss while passing me, he rings the bell telling all it was last orders, the pub was a lot quieter now and I look around smiling that it wouldn't be long before I was falling in to bed. I decided to go and collect some glasses from some tables, I grab some glasses and put them bar, I turn around and see the blond hair man that I saw in the park. He was down the far end of the pub. I stand there staring not really knowing what to do, he starts to walk my way, I walk backwards with worry bumping into a guy, I apologise and walk behind the bar, making me feel a bit safer with the bar being between me and him. I stop and look at him he stops in front of me, I notice he looks quite young in the face I'd say he looked early twenties, but he sure didn't come across like that.

"Ellie, Ellie , Ellie nice place" he smirks
"How did you know where I was" I mumbled standing back
"Well your names above the door" he laughed
"I didn't mean that" I snap
"Jen, nice girl was seeing her a few months back, she told me that you was moving here"
"Jen is in dover"
"Yeah she is, and the guy she dated for 6 weeks was called Flynn as well" he chuckled
"That was you"
"Your quick, got a smart head on your shoulders I like that about you"
Mick starts getting the punters to leave grabbing glasses he looks over and walks over to Tina and says something to her I see her nod, I realise that mick has put together the pieces and figured that the blond guy infront of me was Andy.

"Why you here then" I ask
"Checking the place out, shane would be here but he saving the surprise for you"
I look around and realise that the pub is now empty except for me Andy and mick. mick walks over grabbing Andy by the shoulder.
"You and me are going to have a quick chat" mick whispers into his ear
andy smiles at me and mick, stepping backwards properly feeling that mick had entered is personal space and felt a bit threatened.

Mick turns to him and I walk out from behind the bar not liking the distance anymore wanting to be closer incase it kicked off.
"So your andy" mick asked him
"Yeah, and you must be mick carter, nice place you got hear mick, looks like you and the lovely Ellie have done okay for your self" Andy said looking around taking in the pub
"Yeah okay enough of the small talk, I wanna no what the hell your doing here and why your passing messages to Ellie from shane"
"Well while shane gets back on his after leaving the prison, he asked me to look into finding this girl or should I say his girlfriend was what he told me, back behind bars we shared a cell we talked and he told me everything from his past. well what else do you have to do in there." Andy laughs
I sit on the bar stool with mick next to me waiting for Andy to carry on
"Well anyway we shared a cell, and as I got realised earlier than him he told me to find Ellie I was out a year with no luck, I heard that Ellie was in kent and I searched everywhere. I then met Jen, she told me that the last time she spoke to Ellie was that Ellie was back in Watford and that she was in a relationship with some guy so I went to Watford, and I then heard that Ellie had moved again and here we are"

Mick takes a step closer to him "so why are you here and looking for ellie, what does shane want" Mick asked again

"Shane just recently got realised, all I know is that he wants Ellie back, he is mighty pissed that Ellie left him in the lurch"

"Look listen here dick for brains" I yell standing up "I'm not Shane's girlfriend I haven't been since I was 23 I'm 28 now here me it's been like 5years."

"Well shane don't see it like that he said that you left him one night no explanation, he now sees Mick with something that's his"

Mick stands there and laughs "he does does he, well you tell this shane he wants Ellie come and get her. I will be waiting."
With that mick grabs Andy and opens the pub door and throws him out closing the door and locking it.
