Twenty five

Tonight was Sharon's hen party and i was looking forward to spending time with friends and have a drink or two and get ready and meet Nancy downstairs and kiss Mick goodbye
"You have fun and don't get to off ya nut" Mick said giving me a kiss over the bar
"Right Nancy, your job is to bring your stop mum home in one piece or you be cleaning toilets for a month" he jokes
"Yes yes" Nancy said pulling a face at Mick

We leave to head for Sharon's bar the Albert and we arrive and walk in
"Your here" Sharon said over the laughing
"Yes sorry we late madam here couldn't decide on what to wear" Nancy said poking me with her finger
"Oi you, don't get cheeky" I said with a chuckle
"Oi don't get cheeky" Nancy jokes again with a laugh
"Come I will get you a drink" Sharon said handing me a glass of champagne and Nancy an orange juice

It been about 2hours later and I was slightly tipsy and I sit at the bar quietly on my own and I think about what Dean had done and about his behaviour I had put it down to a misunderstanding but maybe it was more?

"Ellie you coming back to join us?" Sharon asked me standing next to me
"Yes in a second I said finishing the last  mouthful of champagne from my glass
"You okay? you seem distant" Sharon asks me
"Yeah it's just I got a problem and I'm not sure what what I should do and how Mick will take it"
"Well how about you tell me and I will be able to help" Sharon said pouring some more champagne in my glass
"Okay well it's Dean he has been all over me if you can call it that and his always around and then there's this kiss" I rant on not making sense due to the alcohol
"Kiss you kissed Dean wicks?"
"Yes,No he kissed me"
"You kissed Dean behind Mick's back?" Sharon said shocked
"It wasn't like that Sharon, Dean he has been acting strange I thought thought it was in my head but I guess it's not"
"But you still kissed Dean behind Mick's back, Mick is a good man"
"I never Dean kissed me"
"You kissed Dean?" Nancy said from behind me I turn and see and upset Nancy and she turns and leaves
"Nancy sweetie" I said standing up going after her

I catch up to Nancy and I call her to stop
"Nancy just stop for Christ sake" I call out
"You cheated on my dad"
"No no I haven't, I  wouldn't do that to him" I said realising how quickly I sobered up
"But you kissed Dean" she said upset.
"Well not like that he kissed me I pushed him off, Dean his been pestering me" I said
"Pestering?" She questioned
"Well not pestering more like flirting around me, he makes me feel uncomfortable"
"Why haven't you told my dad?"
"You know why nance, he would kill him, you know how your dad deals with things, also Dean is family, unfortunately"

Me and Nancy talk all the way back to the vic and we decided that maybe for now that telling Mick was not the answer at the moment, I told her that maybe me giving him a slap would put a stop to it all. And how wrong was I? it only gets worse.
