Twenty three

It's been about a week since Dean had pulled that stunt and I have done my best to avoid him (which has been hard) he has made me feel really uncomfortable being around him, I would tell Mick but he seems happy having his nephew around the place and if I'm honest I don't think he will believe me and put it down to a misunderstanding.

Today I have a day off and Sharon texts me wanting me to meet her in the cafe for coffee to talk wedding plans which sounded kind of fun and I needed girl time, so I agreed.

Sharon and I are in the cafe talking about wedding arrangements and about her dress that she wants and about food she would like at the reception which she is having at the vic.

"I know it's weeks away but are you nervous?" I ask her

"No not yet but I bet they will come, though phill is my soulmate so I doubt it, do you think you and Mick will ever get married?"

"I doubt it Micks not the marrying type Sharon" I said

"Wasn't he married to his ex Linda?"

"oh, no, they were never married,  never official."

"Oh when I've spoke to Linda she always had me believing it was wrote in stone" Sharon explained

"Yeah that old cow would make that out, but no they was never married wore rings but certificate" I explained

"But would you get married" Sharon asked me

"Like I said Sharon Mick he don't come across as the marriage type"

"Ellie I'm asking you if Mick walked in here now got down on one knee and said will you marry me? What would you do?"

I sit and look at the door of the cafe and I picture Mick walking in and getting down on one knee and producing a beautiful ring and asking me to marry him.

"Yes I would marry him, it's all I want is him, to be with him to have a family with him, I love him more than life it's self " I said looking back at her.

Sharon and I finish up our coffees and leave the cafe and say our goodbyes outside and I go to head back to the vic but Stacy calls me over.

"Hey Ellie fancy picking up a bargain" she calls standing there with Kat at the stall.

"Depends on what you got there" I said walking over to them looking at the stuff hanging up.

"Everything" Kat said "tops dresses saucy undies that will have Mick drooling after you" she said laughing
I look through the stuff and pick out a top I liked.

"I will take this" I said handing it to Stacy.

"Sure you don't want some undies" Kat said holding up a red corset.

"Hey Dean what do you think, is red Ellie's colour? " she calls over to Dean who was walking our way.

"She can pull off any colour" he said looking at me to the corset.
I take my change out of stacys hand and walk away heading to the pub wanting to get away from the situation.

"Hey Ellie you have been avoiding me" Dean asked follow up me.

"Got that right" I called over my shoulder reaching the I doors
"Why?" he replied sounding confused.

"Why the hell do you think? You touched me"  I said in a quiet voice not wanting anyone to hear.

"Touched you what the hell Ellie"

"At the photo shoot you squeezed my ass and that was crossing the line with me Dean" I said about to enter the vic but Dean pulls me back holding onto my arm tightly.

"I'm sorry Elle maybe it was the champagne" he said I look at him and shrug him off so he would let go of me
"Okay well don't let it happen again"
I walk in the pub thinking maybe I had overreacted over something so stupid, I felt relieved thinking that everything I thought it, was just in my head.
