Lia

She awoke to the screaming through the wall again, followed by the sound of frustration. The tall brunette who she lived next door to had been waking up every night since he had moved in a week ago. She wasn't even sure if he had a bed with him which totally confused her but she wasn't one to comment on it.  He looked familiar but she couldn't quite put her finger on it, maybe he was secretly famous or something. Lia assumed he suffered from night terrors which cause him to act out this way but having never caught him in conversation this was hard to decide.

She rolled over to check the clock, 4am. Groaning she covered her head with the blanket in an attempt to ignore the loud bangs coming from next door. She was sure he liked to exercise after waking up and it was not ideal for her, she dreaded to think about how the people below him must feel.

Giving up on sleep Lia decided to get up and have a bath, hoping it would help her head not hurt by 10am like it had been since he moved in. She made a mental note to try and approach him about it but nicely, although how can you approach something like that?

Hi, I've heard your night terrors. Please stop banging around at 4am I like my sleep.

Rolling her eyes she turned on the bath tap, that sounds stupid. Plus, he was scary. The small interaction she had with him demonstrated that he had a staring problem as he just watched her and didn't say much. Lia felt too scared to say hello and instead just smiled weakly and scurried into her flat. It seemed to be the safer option.

"Stupid fucking man and his stupid night terrors, why does he find the need?" Lia mumbled to herself as she stripped, turning off the tap and climbing into the bath. Maybe she could go to work early and get out early, if she was up she might as well.

Lia set up her iPad, turning on the Disney + show she had been watching lately called 'Siren'. She was almost three seasons in within the week thanks to the noisy neighbour. She needed a name for him, it felt rude just calling him noisy all the time. Knowing how harsh she had been felt wrong, he was obviously struggling through a lot and she had been insensitive. She was better than that.

6am rolled around quicker than she cared to admit, an hour in the bath really did make time fly by. She was now ready for the day, jumping into her jeans to head to work. The earlier she got there the better. She shoved her blonde hair up in a bun, deciding it wasn't worth the time to do it as it messed up anyways. Grabbing her bag and her keys she headed to the door, sitting down to put on her converse.

"Stupid shoes." She groaned in frustration as she finally managed to get her foot in the shoe, tying the lace before moving onto the next one.

Lia stood up, brushing herself down and sighing before leaving the empty apartment. She had always been a little bit of a loner, not really having many friends so living alone was the best option for her. She had always meant to get a cat or something to keep her busy but she felt as if she'd forget to feed an animal as she forgot to feed herself at times. She turned to lock her door, spinning back round and bumping into a chest.

"Oh shit, sorry." Looking up she noticed the tall brunette who she lived next door to. Great first impression Lia.

"It's fine." His voice was harsh but his eyes were soft, bright blue like hers.

She felt her breathing speed up being this close to him, her whole body tingling. The two stood staring at one another, a hard look on the mans face. The tingles she felt from him were not something that she had ever experienced before, feeling her stomach do flips. He smelt like sweat but in a good way, like a nice sweaty smell. Is that even a thing? Either way, he was massively turning her on.
