Lia
She had avoided him for three days since finding out who he really was. Sure, he was good looking but an ex assassin? No thank you. Lia knew it wasn't his fault what had happened yet she couldn't help but feel scared of him, especially since she knew what was under that glove. Lia had invested in some ear plugs but they only blocked out the screaming, not the shaking of her walls after she assumed he took his frustration out on them. Why couldn't he do something normal and have a wank or something? Nothing about this was normal. Not even slightly.
Right now she was getting ready for her date with a man named Lucas. Lia had done a LOT of tinder swiping lately due to her being up early and she wanted a free meal. Her waist length dirty blonde hair was curled, leaving it loose and effortlessly bouncy. Well, effortlessly was the wrong word but that was how it looked. She kept her make-up natural and glowy, no foundation with just concealer covering her spots and her under eye-bags. She had used a new hack from TikTok for her eyeliner, making it a soft brown which made her freckles stand out more. The fake eyelashes had been a bit of an issue but now she had finally managed to stick down the inner corner they looked nice. She finished off the look with a natural looking lip gloss, a slight pink tint to it. She felt pretty.
Lia wore a baby pink dress, something out of a modern "Bridgerton" with white heels and a white bag. Her heels laced up her leg, making her feel as if she looked like she had longer legs than she did. Her heels were small and blocky, she couldn't walk in anything higher and she refused to make herself look like an idiot.

I'm outside"Shit."
Quickly spraying some perfume she stumbled out the door, not thinking to check if James was nearby. When she turned she caught eyesight with him again, their eyes locking as he stared at her. His blue eyes searched hers before Lia looked away, feeling completely intimidated. She couldn't bare to look back at him and cursed herself for looking away, definitely thinking he saw her as weak now. An easy target.
James stared at her up and down, not daring to move a muscle out of fear she would disappear. The girl next door was like the angel he never knew he needed.
"Hi." Her voice squeaked a little, clearly showing him she was nervous. God, she wanted to melt into the floor. James said nothing, only nodded at her and entered his apartment.
Lia couldn't help but stare at his arms as he turned away from her, he could definitely hold her up against the wall. God sake, he's a killer. Why did he have to be so good looking? She shook it off, heading down the stairs of her building to see Lucas standing outside.
"You look gorgeous." She smiled in response to him, the pair leaning in for a hug. Lucas was about six foot four inches, with a natural looking tan and blonde hair. Normally she liked tall, dark and handsome but now that just reminded her of James, which was not something she needed.
Lucas opened the door for her, letting her slid into his car before he closed it. His car was decent sized and smelt nice, always a plus. Lucas slid into the drivers side, smiling at Lia. His eyes did keep falling to her breasts thought which was kind of annoying.
"So, I was thinking we can go to this small Italian restaurant I know?" Lucas kept his eyes on the road as he drove, meaning Lia could not just nod and agree like she normally did with these things. He's paying, he can take her wherever he wants.
"Sounds great Lucas." She smiled and he removed one hand of the steering wheel, placing it on her thigh. She could feel the instant tingles ride up her thigh, it had been months since someone touched her like this. Maybe that was why James had such an affect on her the other day. She just needed to get laid.
