"Here's your beers" A male waiter put the drinks on the table in front of Abigail and Ryan.
"Thank you" Abigail smile, she looked a bit uncomfortable when her lingered around the table "Are you alright?" She asked him curiously.
"Yeah sorry" the waiter realised what he was doing "It's just I am a huge fan of both of you and would be really grateful if I could get a picture with you both?"
"Sure" Abigail Looked at Ryan "Ryan?"
"Yeah of course" Ryan and Abigail both stood up as the guy got his friend to take a photo.
"Thank you do much, how about an autograph" the waiter was extremely excited when Ryan and Abigail took turns to write a quick message on a white napkin, he bounced back over to the bar and showed his friends his autographs.
Ryan studied Abigail's body language for a few moments, he could tell she was a little uncomfortable and lost in thought. She jumped a little when she felt a hand on top of hers "You ok?" Ryan asked gently.
Abigail nodded "Yeah, it's just that still freaks me out a bit sometimes...I just..." Ryan could feel Abigail's hands were shaking.
"Hey look at me" Ryan exhaled as he took both of her hands "It's fine I won't let anything happen to you and Leroy is right outside ok?" Abigail nodded her reply "Do you want to get out of here?"
"Where?" Abigail frowned, she new Ryan was flying to Europe in the morning and the drive back to her house would have turned everything into one mad rush.
"We could go back to my hotel if you like? It's only a few blocks away" Ryan's suggestion sounded perfect to Abigail. They both finished what was left in their beer bottles and stood up, they walked outside into the night and got into the back of Abigail's Range Rover "Do you know where The Rodgers hotel is?" Ryan asked Leroy.
"I sure do" Leroy smiled, he glanced in the mirror at Ryan and Abigail they both seemed so happy in eachother's company. It wasn't long before Leroy pulled up outside the The Rodgers "Here we go, what did you want me to do Abi?" Leroy asked as he assessed the security guards on the door. They looked more than capable of keeping an eye on things.
Abigail sat forward in her seat "Would you come in and stay?" Her suggestion confused Ryan. Surely she didn't expect him to stay in his room aswell "I will book you a room, it's just I would feel a lot safer if I knew you were just down the hall"
"No problem Abi, I'll get my bag" Leroy replied as he opened the car door, he handed the keys to a valet guy "I know exactly how many kilometers are on the clock and exactly what possessions we have inside, so if anything changes or dissappears I will come after you...ok?" the valet guy nodded, Leroy was a rather large built man, to the extent he made Abigail look like a small child when she stood next to him.
"That man is like a machine" Ryan chuckled as he walked to the reception desk with Abigail "Does he never sleep?"
"Not really" Abigail laughed "He's like a full time babysitter...but he keeps me safe and thats the important thing" Ryan could see Abigail was still shaken from the fan photo earlier "Could I book a room for tonight please, on the same floor as his?"
"Room 296" Ryan quickly interrupted.
"Yeah 306 is available it's just across the hall from 296" The receptionist smiled "Here you go, would you like room service?"
Leroy appeared behind Abigail and Ryan "I don't know ask him" Abigail smiled "I'll settle his bill in the morning"
"Ok no problem" the receptionist smiled a she turned to Leroy. Ryan and Abigail walked towards the elevator.
"That guy really shook you up earlier didn't he" Ryan said softly as he put his hand on Abigail's arm "I would never let anyone hurt you, you know that right?"
"Yeah I know" Abigail frowned when she realised what was bothering "I don't want Leroy here because I don't trust you...its just last time I sent him away I ended up..." Abigail's tone saddened.
"Hey its fine I'm not trying to have a go at you, I just wish I could make you feel safe" Ryan sighed.
"You do" Abigail tried to reassure him "I wouldn't be staying here the night if I didn't and I definately wouldn't have gone off to that bar after your concert the other night. Thing is it sounds silly but I can't help thinking something is going on" Abigail explained "Something Tony and Harriet aren't telling me"
"You think they're hiding something from you?" Ryan swiped his key card in the door, he pushed it open so Abigail could go in first "Like what?"
"I don't know, I haven't figured it out yet but I will" Abigail looked around the room. It was a big suite with navy blue and cream walls, there was a kingsize bed and en suite bathroom. As Abigail looked around she couldn't help noticing all the equiptment he had, all electronics and amps "Wow, you don't exactly travel light do you? What is all this stuff"
"No not really, it's my studio equiptment" Ryan explained "Like a portable studio"
"Are you serious? You take your studio on tour with you?" Abigail laughed "I am sure you can book studio time anywhere you know"
"Yeah I know" Ryan couldn't help but smile when Abigail did "But not all the equiptment is up to scratch, no point booking a studio if the equiptment is shit"
"Yeah I guess" Abigail had slipped her pants and top off and was stood in her black pantie and strapless bra set. Ryan couldn't take his eyes off her.
"Holy shit" He grinned "What are you trying to do to me?" He added as he walked towards her, he picked her up on the floor and threw her onto the bed causing her to squeal excitedly.
