Abigail's POV
It doesn't matter how many times I see it, this place never fails to take my breath away "It's incredible" Ryan gasped as he looked all around the inside of the Cathedral.
"It is beautiful, I can't believe you have never been inside before" I sigh as I look at all the stained glass windows.
"I am only ever passing through Milan normally so I have only really seen it from the outside" Ryan was walking beside me as we walked through crowds of tourists "I can't believe I have never been in here myself"
"I know what it's like to fly by places, I visted Paris 5 times before I actually got chance to visit Notre Dame and the Arc De Triumph" I explain, this seems to make him smile. I felt him link his fingers through mine as he took my hand and led me through another crowd of people.
"I will never get bored of this" Ryan was thinking out loud (well that's my guess)
"Bored of what?" I looked at him and wait for his reply. He pulls my hand up so it is at eye level "Holding my hand" I guess, as he relaxes our hands down by our sides again, without letting go.
"Kind of" he laughs a little, my comment must have amused him "I mean all of this, spending time with you. I will never get bored of being alone with you"
"Me neither" I smile as I touch his hand with my free hand. I move my hand as we walk through yet another crowd of people.
"Oh my gosh it's Ryan Tedder, look" a girl said loudly, with a very familiar accent.
"And that's Abigail Jenson-Carter" said another girl, my guess is both these girls were from New York. "They are holding hands" I braced myself for the rush of teenagers, but was plesently surprised. The girls just said hello and left us to walk around in peace.
"I guess being in a holy place brings out the good in some people" I smile, I notice Ryan is smirking at me.
"Hmm" he continued to look at me with a cheeky look in his eyes "And other people just get an overwhelming urge to do something bad, to someone hot"
I couldn't help but bite my bottom lip "Do I need to throw some holy water on you, to calm you down Mr Tedder?" I tease, I feel his hands around my waist as he pulls me closer and kisses my head quickly before pulling away.
"You need to behave yourself, we are in the house of God right now" I smirk as I take his hand again and we walk towards the exit "So where else did you want to visit?"
"I can think of a few places" he gives me a mischievous look.
"Are they legal?" I manage to giggle at him, his smile is infectious.
"Absolutely legal, not sure you can tell your Mom about them though" he laughs as we get closer to what looks to be a coffee shop "I need cake first" he flashes me that smile again.
"Great plan" I follow Ryan inside the cafe, it looks as though she is closing up "Sorry we'll go"
"No, No please stay" she smiles as she wipes her hands on her apron and lifts two chairs off the tables "What would you like?"
"Erm a cappuccino please" I smile as
I watch Ryan eying up the cake."Espresso and a piece of that please" I didn't see what Ryan was pointing to, he looked happy though.
"Coffee and cake, how old are we?" I laugh as the lady brings us our coffees.
"There is nothing wrong with a coffee, there is always time for a coffee shop pit stop" Ryan defended himself whilst a grin crept over his face.
"Keep telling yourself that Tedder" I laugh, my thoughts are interupted by my cell phone ringing in my pocket. I look at the number flashing on the screen and turn it to silent, it's a number I don't recognise.
"Who was that?" Damn it this man does not miss a thing.
"I don't know, I didn't recognise the number" I smiled, he looked suspicious.
"So I was thinking we could go back to the hotel and get changed, then make a night of it?" Ryan's suggestion sounded perfect.
"Yeah that sounds great, I will be able to check into my room when I get back too" I tease, his face is blank, he looks horrified "You did book me a room right?" I take it further.
"Er...erm not...erm" Ryan seemed to be struggling to find the right words. I couldn't hold it in anymore I had to laugh.
"Relax I'm just playing" I laugh "I would have been dissapointed if you booked me my own room"
"You bitch! I swear to god I have just aged about 10 years right now" Ryan smiles and shakes his head.
"I'm sorry I couldn't resist, you are so easy to wind up" I laugh as he finishes his coffee.
"You realise I will make you pay for this later right" he smirks, god this man is so Damn hot.
"I am counting on it" he makes it so easy to play these kinds of games. I flash him a cheeky smile before finishing my coffee and walking over to the counter, I pay the lady for our coffees and cakes and obviously give her a generous tip for staying open to serve us.
Ryan was walking towards the door as I walked back to the table, I picked up my jacket and purse before following him "Back to the hotel?" Ryan smiled as he grabbed my hand in his.
"Yeah sounds good" I smile "We will have to take Leroy with us tonight though" I sigh, we have had such a wonderful afternoon/evening I thought Leroy being with us would ruin it.
"That's fine" is this guy for real, he is far too perfect for words, surely there has to be a catch, right? "If it's for your benefit I don't mind"
