Abigail's POV
'Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none...William Shakespeare'
I am a big believer that if you get a tattoo it should mean something, personally to you. Not just a picture from a magazine, or the latest Chinese symbol because Simon has one (obviously a name that just came into my head) I had been toying with the idea of a new tattoo since Ryan joked about it last week. And this quote was perfect.
Seems strange that a week has past already, I have been quite busy doing photoshoots and interviews to promote my new movie. Anything to keep my mind occupied really, not just from Ryan. I still have the idea of a crazy psychopath stalker that is walking free somewhere, to contend with. I still haven't told Ryan about this, I wasn't sure if he would be worried or freak out.
A lot of stories and pictures have been in the press recently, our relationship (if that's what you can call it) is a hot topic at the moment and I saw on a YouTube interview that Ryan has confirmed we are dating. I just hope all the craziness of paparazzi and scandal doesn't put him off. He seems happy to stick around though. We don't talk as much as we'd like but we text, call and Skype whenever we can.
Freya is due home in a week and I have to say I cannot wait, I have missed her so much. I have been skyping her twice a day, she seems so happy at the moment. I have mentioned Ryan to her and she is excited to meet him.
I have to admit for once things are going great. It's my day off and I am spending it with Harriet, I seem to have neglected her a lot recently so shopping and lunch is in order. It's a beautiful day outside so I am wearing a blue dress and matching sandals, I am just about to leave my apartment when there is a knock at the door. Leroy opens it and a man in a delivery hat is holding a beautiful bouquet of red and white roses "Miss Jenson" he asked, Leroy frowned.
"That's me" I quickly interupted him I take the flowers and envelope.
"No prizes for guessing who they are from" Leroy teases as he reads the card "Thinking of you, Ryan xx" he reads out loud "What's in there?"
I open the envelope and take out a note 'How do you fancy a trip to the future, Ryan xx'
"What is it?" Leroy read over my shoulder as I pulled two flight tickets out of the envelope 'LAX to Milan' "Oh my god" Leroy exhaled.
"Is he for real?" I gasp out loud "These are for tonight"
"Are you gonna go?" Leroy asked curiously as he took the tickets and examined them. I put the flowers on the side, they were already in water.
"There are two tickets so if I go you go too" I remind him, a grin creeps across his face "I'll go and pack then shall I" I smile as I take my phone out of my pocket and quickly dial my Mom's number.
"Hey honey how are you?" She says in her usual tone.
"I'm great I just wanted to let you know I am flying to Milan later tonight with Leroy" I explain and my Mom is silent "Mom?"
"Well I think a vacation will do you good" My Mom is always great when it comes to things like this "How long are you going for?"
"Just a couple of days" I reply as I pull a black suitcase out of my closet and lay it open on my bed.
"Are you meeting Ryan?" My Mom always did get straight to the point.
"Yeah, he sent me the tickets" I have never been able to keep secrets from my Mom "For me and Leroy"
"Well remember what we talked about last week, be careful sweetheart" he tone softened a little "And go and have some fun, make some memories"
"I will I love you" I smile as I pull underwear out of my drawer.
"I love you too darling, call me when you land" My Mom finished the phone call. I threw my phone on my bed and looked around my closet for things to wear.
It took me 20 minutes to pack my things "Hey honey" Harriet's voice echoed around the lounge. I was just putting my wallet in my birkin when she arrived "Are you ready to go?" I smile and nod.
We head outside and get in the black Mercedes that us waiting for us "I told Leroy to follow in his car, he said he will stay out of sight today" I feel Harriet's hand on my arm.
"Thanks" I smile "Ryan has asked me to meet him in Milan"
"WHAT!?!" Harriet almost choked "When? Oh my god are you going, Abi you have to go"
"Yeah me and Leroy, Ryan sent two tickets for a flight tonight" I explain.
Harriet squeals "Oh this is so exciting, what are you taking?"
"Clothes" I laugh, she frowns at me "I packed plenty of things to wear" I smile.
"I still can't believe he wants you to fly to him" Harriet sighs "Have you told him you're going?"
"No not yet, he is still in concert" I reply as I check my watch. It's 11am, which means it is 8pm in Milan.
"Thank you Terry" Harriet thanks the driver as we both get out of the car and head toward the shops "So what's going on with Ryan right now?" She always knew what questions to ask "What's going on in your head?"
"I don't know, I really like him and he seems perfect but..." I try and put my feeling into words "Something my Mom said got me thinking"
"What did she say?" Harriet frowned as she opened the door to a small boutique which sold shoes and purses.
"She thinks he might be using our relationship to promote his Album" Harriet was horrified.
"She did not say that?" She exclaimed as she turned to me.
"Oh yeah right before she told me she can use google" I added whilst laughing.
"Oh my god, she did not Google him?" Harriet cried before putting her hand over her face.
"Yep" I giggled.
"Oh wow" Harriet laughed and looked at me "Honey I really don't think there is any truth in what your Mom said, Ryan isn't exactly an up and coming artist. He is quite well known in his own right"
I just looked at the shoes while listening to Harriet, she did speak some sense I suppose.
