CHAPTER TEN: PART ONE

(KAKASHI'S POV)

i was walking down the hallway from checking up on Hazumi, Aki, Haku, and Raiden. Raiden was in pretty bad shape he had this bruise in the shape of three commas in his shoulder. i saw this panther run to me

"Kakashi?" it asked

"yes?" i asked

"you remember me right i was the panther Kazuma took shape of at the Land of Waves. she's in bad shape. that Orochimaru person bite her and left a funky bruise. i leave her in your hands." she said then started to shift back to human. Kazuma's body slumped to the floor. i caught her before her head hit the concrete

(GAARA'S POV)

i felt Kazuma's low chakura signal 'brat go help her. she's in pain.' Shukaku growled. i got up

"what's wrong Gaara?" Temari asked

"it's Kazuma." i said worriedly and fled the room with my siblings behind me. i saw this white haired leaf Jounin holding my Kazuma looking at her shoulder

"Kazuma!" i yelled frantically and ran over

"you know her, sand nin?" the white hair nin asked 'brat put some sand on her shoulder. it'll help her pain, but first bring her to a bed.' Shukaku ordered frantically

"give her here leaf nin." i ordered. he loosened her and i grabbed her and carried her bridal style to my room. i laid her on my bed and placed sand on her left shoulder 'please be okay.' i thought. she started to murmur in her sleep

"pain. i'll kill that bastard snake." she said

-three days later-

(KAZUMA'S POV)

i slowly opened my eyes to see a blinding bright light. i quickly closed my eyes and rolled over and fell off of whatever i was laying on

"damn it!" i growled

"Kazuma!" i heard a lazy frantic voice yell along with that one voice i love. i slowly sat up rubbing my eyes. i opened my eyes to see a simple room with three beds

"are you okay?" i looked to see Kakashi

"hm. i guess. why?" i said

"you were unconscious for three days." i heard Gaara say. i got up, but my hand flew to my shoulder. i hissed

"i'm going to kill him." i hissed/growled through grited teeth. after the pain subsided

"i'm hungry." i said and looked for the smell of food. i looked off and found the kitchen. i ate till i was full and left the tower to head to the hokage.

"Kazuma!" i heard Gaara yell as i walked out of the tower door

"hm. what, Ga?" i asked turning around and was embraced in a soft hug

"don't be angry with the sand in a month." Gaara said

"i won't be here i have to train with some old friends and i;m taking Aki with me." i said

"what about Hazumi? she's a puppet master and as i recall no leaf nin is one. except you." Gaara said

"i was planning on Kankuro to train Hazumi and Kakashi to train Raiden." i said and kissed Gaara on the cheek

"gotta go and pack because leaving after this exam is over." i said and released Gaara's arms from around me

"i love you Gaara. i'll see you in a month." i said with a smile that is only his to see and flashed to the Gate of the Forest of Death. i unlocked the gate with my chakura and walked through

"Yuri did you find a way to control the Curse Mark?" i asked

"i'm still looking sweetheart." Yuri said

"okay. inform me when you find out." i said. i headed home to pack

-one day later-

i had my things packed ready for training Aki

"time to encounter the Akatsuki." i said out loud. i had clothes, food pills, food scrolls, weapon scrolls, books, bomb scrolls, puppet scrolls, bandages, and plenty of bomb ingredients in scrolls

'knock-knock'

"come in" i said. Zabuza opened the door

"Zabuza." i said happily

"hey what happened during the Chunin exams. you okay?" he asked

"yep." i said and turned. returning to my puppets. 'why do puppets have to take so long to make' i thought

"can you leave Zabuza? i need to finish somethings with this puppet torso." i said

"sure, brat. bye." Zabu said and kissed my head and left my room.
