(Mallika's pov)
"Talk to me" He said.
I wasn't interested cause one thing was roaming in my mind, the cut I saw in his hand. I remember, yesterday I had made a deep cut in the same place and sane hand of that man also. It looked same.
Was it Sumedh then? No... But why would he try to kill me? Um... I harmed Jess that's why? But.... I Need to know the truth clearly.
"Sumi" I said purposely to soften his mind.
And my plan worked very well. He looked at me with some hopes.
"Yes?"
"Do u know about Tarun?" I asked to see his expressions. Those changed a bit, seemed surprised.
"Oh.... No, he was missing na?" He saud but that wasn't the answer I was expecting.
"Hm... He died recently" I said but he wasn't surprised or shocked. Neither his expressions changed asif he knew it was supposed to happen.
"Oh" He said casually.
"U don't look surprised" I asked nit being able to stop my curiosity.
"No I am actually speechless" He said.
"Oh" I mumbled and bud bye to him as we had already reached near my house.
-------<<<Next Day in the college>>>-------
I reached in the classroom where everyone were looking at me and I knew the reason. Though It wasn't embarrassing.
"Hi Mallika" A girl said approaching me.
"Hey" I replied with a smile.
"Leena this side" She said with a same charm in her smile.
"U have got a nice name Lee" I smiled back.
"Mallika would u like to sit beside me?" She said.
I was relieved and agreed immediately. Atleast I had not to sit beside him. We sat there and started our conversation. She seemed like my type almost. Likes to talk and mixes up easily. We became good friends. It was when our English madam entered, she was basically a chattered box just like me still I didn't like her much.
"Google mornings my deariesss!!"
She said leaning herself on the table.
"Google morning professor" Everyone wished.
She's like that only... Trynna to be cool but ends up making herself a joke, that she barely understands.
"Lee, wasn't it supposed to be good?" I whispered it to Leena.
"Duh---- uk her na! Still look at the long hanging tongues of these creepy aliens" She said pointing towards the boys of our class.
"I know right😂" I laughed.
She rolled her eyes and took out her earpodes.
"She basically chews our head, so I better choose to put on the earpodes and silently sleep in the corner"
She took herself aside and leaning on the wall she closed her eyes not before putting on her earpodes.
"Hey are you mad? Uk na... She'll chew ur head more by her very important lectures." I said sarcastically pursing her character.
