Part-13 ~Flashback Starts~

~And it starts from the beginning~

"How it all started Sumedh. No one knows why u killed her. Doctor just said u were not well mentally and u couldn't place her in ur mother's place. What did she lack? Why Sumedh? Still u have the unending hate for that dead soul?"

Vasudev thought but couldn't say the words out loud.

(Flashback)
After 2 days Vasudev returned and when entered the room and he almost fainted seeing the scene in front. The dead still eyes of the lady. Dried blood all over. A dirty rotten smell while Sumedh lied there lifeless himself.

"Sumedh!!"

He yelled and went to him. Sumedh's body was burning in fever. He saw him holding a knife tightly in his fist. He understood what had happened but not the reason. He just held Sumedh in his arms, couldn't able to digest the fact. He loved his son a lot also his such murderous act just shook him to his core. He fell in dilemma if to defend him or to subject him to the police for murdering someone. He cried holding his son only one thing he understood that he was not ok and there must be some critical reason that led him to take this step.

Later he made himself strong and informed everything to the police. They firstly admitted him in a hospital. Doctor said that he was unconscious for a long of time. Also he was stressed fir something that was the reason of his fever. His pulse rate fell, he was taking himself to the lap of death sleep, as doctor said that his body seemed not to respond.

Vasudev sat there with no emotions. Raj was also having fever for continuous crying.

"A child of 2 years too suffered in this." He thought.

After 1 or 2 hours Sumedh got back his senses and his vulnerable state was enough for them to understand his state.

"WHERE AM I?? LEAVE ME!! U... GUYS... U GUYS ALSO... WANT TO BEAT ME?... NOO!! I SHAN'T THINK TWICE TO KILL THOSE WHO TRY TO TOUCH ME" He shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Calm down, we aren't gonna do anything like that... U r not well now. Sleep for sometime" The doctor said who was present there.

"NO U LIERS!! EVERYONE LIESSS!! JUST A FACE MASKED!! BLOODY BITCHES!" He cried in anger.

His face was red, he gritted his teeth. Just a chance to gey rid of the clutches on his arms and he'll tear up everyone's flesh.

"Sumedh" Vasudev said softly while entering.

His eyes were teary, Sumedh calmed for a while and softened towards his father.

"Papa.... Papa save me... Papa They'll kill me... Papa... It's hurting me... Pls... Papa..." He literally begged.

"No child, they'll cure u... They won't hurt u..."

He caressed Sumedh's cheeks while moving back.
"No...no...papa u can't leave me to them..."

"Child get well soon...." Hus Voice cracked and without taking more time he left from there leaving a helpless Sumedh crying behind.

"Papa don't go pls... Papa.... Pls... Aah..aahh...It's hurting!!"

Sumedh screamed as a high doze was pushed in his body for making him unconscious.

"Rest urself Sumedh.... I am sorry!"
The doctor mumbled.

He was shifted to the asylum where it took 2 years to get him calm and almost cured. He used to be horrified in the darkness, when the thoughts of the tortures he faced striked infront of his eyes. Then he laughed remembering how painful end he gave to his criminal.

After 2 years, Vasudev took him to a hostel where on his special request the teachers looked after his studies... More 3 years passed and Sumedh prepared himself fully. His brilliance, his presence of mind showed it all. But a huge development in his behavior. The teachers had no complaints against him but except only one, that he was awkwardly silent and his a few actions made them scared sometimes. But they didn't say him what actions.

"My smile!! They used to be terrified by my smile only... Cause they knew.... It Only called the worst.... darkening my sight indicating hatred and rage filling me up.... I don't think twice to punish, if anyone dares to go against my will. I like perfections but hate betrayals"

~Sumedh.

"I am not scared of anyone. I'm independent to think and do whatever I want. I can reply them with the slap of my words cause I never lie and don't tolerate it either. I don't believe in perfections but the hard work that makes us perfect. U betray me and I won't mind showing u, ur own place"

"Raj beta today ur elder brother is coming back from hostel today. Get ready we're going to pick him up"

Vasudev said being very happy and more excited as well as happier was almost 8 years old Raj.

"Yeeaah!! I shall see bare bhaiya today. I'll talk a lottt with him"

He chirped and ran all over the hall.

Vasudev smiled to see his happy soul. They were about to depart when stopped seeing Sumedh standing at the doorstep. He seemed very tired.

"Sumedh?! We were going to pick u up" Vasudev said.

"It's ok dad... I'm tired so couldn't wait" He said not giving much importance.

"Bare bhaiyaaaa" Raj rushed to him and hugged tightly.

Sumedh stumbled by his sudden act. He saw Raj after almost 6 years. A chubby boy, cute nose.

"huh!? 😶"

"Bare Bhaiyaaaaaaaaaaaaa u forgot me? But dad said u did not" Raj said.

He was always a naughty kid unlike Sumedh, who always stayed silent. Mainly Sumedh couldn't lead a normal life.

"Ra.. Raj?" He asked confusingly to which he nodded his head rapidly.

Sumedh stayed silent just a thought clung in his mind. Though Raj was his step brother still he wanted to care him, he wanted to love him. He wanted to be an ideal brother. A faint smile occured on his face.

"Bhaiya😒" Raj called to which he just hummed.

"Why aren't u talking?"

"ok ok fine... Let me freshen up first, then we'll talk a lot😊"

Sumedh said and left from there. Vasudev sighed and Raj could understand nothing.
