Sumedh's pov Stepping down the stairs, our eyes widened to see the scene...
The sight, was enough for our heart to break.... Raj was crawling on the floor while his half body was drenched in blood. A dead body was lying at the end of the stairs. Dad ran down first and held Raj in his arms. He was scared to the worst, his face was visibly panicked. As I went closer my legs felt numb seeing the note written on the back of the body, by scratching it's flesh.
"Sumedh what had happened??" Mallika asked. The sound of her footsteps coming towards us.
I was definitely not willing her to see the scene in this situation. She'd be scared! I panicked to stop her but unfortunately she had already come till then. Her expression slowly turning from stressed to more shocking. I gulped down.
"Don't come down Mallika" I ordered to which she didn't reply. Her gaze was stuck on the dead body.
"Mallika don't go." I said again but it was of no use.
Mallika got down the stairs and stared at the body. "Go and tell that crap that how much dreadful it can be to mess me up"
Said the note that she read. I didn't know why she wasn't scared but her behaviour was calm and cold, Asif it was her daily routine to see such dead bodies. She read the note again and again.
"What are you doing Mallika?!" I asked Sternly seeing her carefully leaning towards the body. Holding its bloody body she turned it so that now the face was visible.
She gasped seeing the person! Wtf!--- did she know him? Pov ends
Mallika's pov I suddenly got up from my sleep hearing a scream. I was panting for air badly due to the sudden act. Sumedh went out to check out the matter. I was praying everything to be ok. Being so much impatient, I got down from the bed and headed outside. I watched the pool of blood at the downstairs. Dad was holding Raj, my body started to tense up also I could not run. Struggling with the huge baby bump I went and saw something or someone lying at the end of the stairs but couldn't see clearly as Sumedh was standing at the middle.
"Sumedh what had happened?" I asked. Anyone could see the stress lines formed on my forehead.
"Don't come down Mallika" He said in his ordering tone. When he sided himself to talk to me the body was visible that had a note! My expressions changed as a fear started to raise in me seeing the dead body.
WTH just happened here??
"Mallika don't go" I heard Sumedh's voice but my concentration was on the body. Did I know the person?? I read the note written on his back. Creepy!! I carefully bent down to see who it was, holding my tummy. "What are you doing Mallika?!" I heard his stern voice and just shushed him.
I held the bloody body and turned it! Found another note on his chest.
"And those bloody hands got drenched in blood over again ;)" My eyes widened!
