"Stop being so delusional Rubina, he wasn't someone very innocent to be defended like this" Sumedh came inside.

He was giving cold glares to Rubina whereas her red eyes dug holes on his face. He scrunched his nose before stating....

"Mallika was just trying to help You, she wasn't at the fault for sure. Rudra, ur husband was a criminal himself.... Who watched and kidnapped many rich boys for Jessica and also tried to harm me.

I would have killed him on the spot the day I would have met him but it wasn't me... It was Mallika with whom he met and she gives chances to rectify. And he was killed by someone else in that process.... How is Mallika responsible for it huh??"
Sumedh said gritting his teeth to Rubina whose face paled and throat dried up hearing his words. He was true.... And she had no answer for it.

Rudra was a 28 years old guy who worked for Jessica and Vikram Grover. He knew many things about them being the right hand of Vikram. He also tried to hurt Sumedh but couldn't manage to fulfill his tries. The day Mallika went to temple in the morning when Vasudev was attacked, Rudra showed up to her. She didn't know him when he claimed to know her. He gave some confidential news to Mallika..... She was hell shocked to get that and confused simultaneously abt why he said them to her....

"Mallika, they've done lot of crimes and I'm a part of those scenes but it's getting hard for me to do anymore. My wife is pregnant and I want to give my upcoming child a good future away from these crimes. When I wanted to give up the job, they threatened me to kill my wife. I realise now, what mistake I did being so loyal to those snakes. I want to cover up atleast 1% of it. Please believe my words"
He cried for his sins. But this time he was honest to prove his good side. Still she was unsure.

"How do I believe Rudra, that u aren't upto back bitching me? Can u show me proof?"
She asked to which he replied at once.

"Yes, I can .... Give me a day, I'll handover u a pendrive where u will get all the proofs..."

"But the work must be risky...."

"I have to do it for my family"
He said determinedly and Mallika nodded at him.... A few days later she saw the guy lying dead in her living room. He couldn't save himself from the danger. He was killed by Jessica when she gotta know about his intention, he couldn't handover the pendrive to Mallika but kept at the safest place they'd ever think of.

When Mallika explained her meeting with Rudra to Sumedh being unable to hold back the truth, Sumedh calmly held her side for support. They had decided to help his family till the lifetime.

"Sumedh calm down.... Don't say her like that"
Mallika said to Sumedh stepping forward...

"Oh stop ur fucking drama Mallika. And Sumedh, ur wife didn't give him the chance but she used him for her need. If she wanted she could have protected him. Did she not know abt his family and upcoming child?"
She daggered Mallika in rage yet crying....
